Back in Feb it was suggested in an interview that news was coming of a contract with a Class 1 locomotive company. These are big freight companies in North America - loads of fleet. Ken in the proactiveinvestor video last week all but confirmed news was coming. These Class 1 rail freight operators in the US account for 67 percent of the industry's mileage, 90 percent of its employees, and 93 percent of its freight revenue. Some here have speculated it could be the Union Pacific who have over 8,500 locomotives. Interesting time to be invested........

Well let me think... GM, BMW and Merc to name but 3 are in the incorporation stage (contracts signed which you have agreed to) to have SEE DMS in their models for 2020 forward. We all know its coming. So you are focussing on auto and saying its so far away! Yet you agree we are funded, you agree we have other income streams. But you keep looking at the short term or "not looking at the bigger picture" as some posters on this BB say?

Anyone who has a focus on purely EU regulations is "missing the bigger picture" ...a quote from someone on this BB. Why keep going back to EU regulations and ignoring what is actually happening. Have GM, BMW and Merc got it wrong? What will Euro Ncap decide? Its a distraction to keep going back to EU regulations to make a point which is well past its bedtime.... #Justsaying.

Remember and Ken said it too, the EU may be a start but its the bodies that give out the stars that are important to oem's. Japan i think is requiring dms, Euro Ncap wont be behind the door either. Why do we believe oem's are frantically working on this, not because of EU

Would fully expect ACEA to lobby. Despite what they say that its about privacy its because they got caught out when EU included buses and trucks. Can you imagine all the stated companies now would have to integrate the technology into their future productions. They were probably all focussing on auto then this spanner got thrown..

Nothing has been explicitly said yet. I agree that at the meet it was said that aero would be a couple of years to get the full accreditation but i took this to mean in an aircraft in flight. I asked the question and it was strongly hinted to me that all but real flight is possible now. That stands to reason as putting electrical equipment in planes is like cars, needs full certification. We are working with Emirates. No formal signed contract i assume. Emirates are installing 6 new simulators this year in their Dubai training base to increase capacity and training. SEE are we are led to believe very involved in the training of new pilots and Emirates are happy to allow SEE to co-present in front of the worlds aero industry. At the meet it was confirmed that a number of airlines want to talk to SEE. Call it the Emirates effect. For a few years we have been working with the military in some capacity. So my impression is that aero will tick along and then surprise us reasonably soon in contracts and tie ups. I've looked into aero a fair bit and have found a couple more threads which i wont post until i can be more sure. Of course at least one person will call this a ramp...but for me I'm glad I'm invested.

But why did you think it would be Union Pacific based on their connection with EMD and based on the discussion on this BB at the time that a large railway contract would happen this year? Why do you not think that Euro Ncap will be a game changer and the reason why most OEM's are quickly moving on DMS now? What has changed your mind to not even consider the 5 Stars are important?

Alex......when do you expect the upfront engineering milestone payment from BMW due as happened with Mercedes (probably >A$5m), that you told us was due before the year end.? Also when do you anticipate the signings of any combination of Audi(after the 1st model) Subaru(after the 1st model), Volvo, Ford, Geely or Toyota which you agreed was more than possible.? Also when do you think the "Class 1"railway contract will be signed and you were hoping it would be Union Pacific with the link with EMD? Also you talked at length of the importance of the Euro Ncap rating system of 5 stars which was the most important thing and thats why most OEM's are working on DMS now for production in 2020/21 - do you think the 5 stars are important - you used to?

Baxter, advfn is actually funny to read. They think that Guardian is the product that is going into cars.... SEE are manufacturing Guardian for fleet. Cars are algorithms, firmware and eventually chips which will be produced by intel or probably xilinx.Tier1's will be responsible for production. Advfn also suggest getting rid of management. Cause that would work...so get the head of sainsbury's in to replace the experts in machine learning and AI. Of course a mistake was made by our supplier but some of the posters on advfn are embarrassing themselves.

OEM's are seriously running about trying to organise DMS into their future car productions - not because of EU recommendations but because they want the highest possible star rating - Stars sell Cars... So where do we believe we are? - It is widely believed that the 3 OEM's signed are GM, Mercedes and BMW. (That's not a bad line up so far). Jeez Alex8 you're back! Thought you had left after selling out at 7p pre the 34% rise. Do you want back in? Newbies should read all his past posts, he's talked about £1 a share then he sold out then says its a **** share then bought back in then its a great share then sold out recently then its a.....you all get the point.

My what a change. Last Sept we couldn't muster 10 trades a day and were lucky if 1 million shares were traded. And SP was 3.1p. Now today about 300 trades 27million shares and 7.5p. We have a real share now!!

Never seen market open and demand for shares as immediate as this

GB2, I am really hoping that Casper with go for 30p+ since he didn't account for BMW and this weeks EU legislation proposal in the 21p update. Still working on the clues!!
