Am I right in saying that SEE will get monitoring revenue as well from BdMS? Not just the high unit sell.

The current plan is probably the strategy created over 5 years ago. Then the great disruptor arrived in the shape of auto. I would expect that until a year ago it was felt that auto could just be dealt with within normal company growth patterns. Then legislation noises, NCap etc kicked that into touch.
The fleet hit a speed bump and the company thought should we increase resources to fix this or let the fleet grow at its viable levels. The RNS talked about the auto potential in a "much larger market" scaling using the fovio chip.
Rebalance resources - capital - personnel. Expect to have more contract news on auto and aviation in months. BdMS new business 1 signed and talking to a number of big players.

Do I think its doom and gloom. No - bumpy road ahead but reasons to be cheerful Part 1. Re-balance.

Esco it was a guess, I couldn't directly translate GB2 speak! LOL..... But Bosch are as diverse as you can get. Apart from home appliances etc they make sensors for rail, aircraft and auto. Apart from the cockpit at CES what are Bosch to SEE? Unless they are the T1 will Merc what is it that gives them"partner" status for years on the website when some others have been removed. If they are the T1 with Merc they fair enough but who knows.

I could be wrong but here goes.... All the companies listed have a base in Edinburgh. The IIs (Cenkos mates) who bought in at 5p are sticky. Between them and VSI they can decide what happens. For example fight off someone like Bosch if need be. Cenkos and CG could be at their work looking at something out of Detroit. But Cenkos are in the bad books for knowing fleet was in diffs but still bigging fleet up in their note particularly in targets. The next bit is interesting.. Is fovio spin off back on the table. RNS was bullish about auto and talked about "The Company is also working on several proposals with a number of new automotive and aviation customers with an expectation that further business will be awarded to the Company over the coming months." the BdMS has landed ans is I assume what they mean about new proposal. Fovio chip could well be the gamechanger we think it is. Jack knows about doing deals, Mergers, T/O etc so perhaps skip the lot and go straight to the big boys.

Until the 19th and the new plan/projections come out we really don't know what will happen.
Once this month is over and the SP stabilises (at whatever level it will) then it's about what is coming up. I would expect they will be very careful (and require the brokers to be) about what projections are given going forward.

So having said that - as people have said here - the future looks quite bright (post next week).

Ken said that we expect fleet installs to be another 10,000 so by end of fy 19 that should mean 20,000 I think.
The SEE chart shows what has been achieved - pretty much NONE of this is included in the SP (IMO).

In any case, let me confirm that it is my belief that Seeing Machines:

1) Is set to win auto contracts with Toyota and FCA (news on the former is overdue).

2) Will be supplying its technology to one or more of these companies: Apple, Waymo and GM Cruise. (They’ll want more advanced systems than the non eye-tracking ones used by Uber, I’m sure).

3) Will see its tech used by Canadian Pacific Railway.

This is clearly aimed at the likes of Uber, Waymo etc and hence the contact people in the blurb are Auto - Kevin Tanaka etc.... another string to the auto bow.

Fleet seems to be high cost until installed thereafter revenue comes in. Perhaps what has become clear is that auto is much bigger and coming much sooner than was the plan of a couple of years ago....via legislation noises and ncap etc. Perhaps SEE have been taken by surprise in a good way by auto and the demand/profits are huge. Perhaps the chip is the gamechanger. Perhaps the new strategy now in on the lower part of the SEE chart. ....makes sense to me.

Will add in Toll Group in the next update (hopefully with a few more RNS wins!) Actually the Telematics/Fleet confuses me a bit in terms of what should be included - I guess at the minute Fleet confuses SEE as well!

Also Priority Ambulance will be in the next one.

5. Nexty/SEE/Xilinx are exhibiting together at the Car-Ele in Japan right now

6. At the investor presentation AND in Ken's interview with Safestocks he said that Kevin Tanaka is doing great work in Japan AND Xilinx are doing a lot of the groundwork for SEE.

7. Xilinx cannot afford to let the like of Intel get involved with SEE - remember Intel bought Altera in 2016 who are an FPGA chip maker - the very chip that Xilinx produce.

8. Despite Xilinx losing several key staff to SEE there is a very real and ongoing relationship between the two.

Im thinking Xilinx too. Perhaps not a buyout but a strategic investor.
