Consumer confidence in Britain showed a slight decline in April, according to a GfK survey conducted for the month.
The Consumer Confidence indicator registered at negative 19 points, showing a marginal improvement of 2 points from the previous month.
This slight uptick contrasts with the significant 30-point drop observed in April last year.

Raise the Jolly Roger - BOO SP will take a hit tomorrow.
Swim or go under. Just heard that from a man marooned on a desert island surrounded by shark infested waters.
A planned short exit may also likely happen. No proof until it happens...
Anyone would think it should be 10p by now.

390 jobs lost at Sheffield due to Boohoo's automation infrastructure.
More jobs to go at Tetley due to all the lost tea breaks - a changing world is when all you need is a squirt of oil (like 88e).

88e still an exploration outfit - exploring repeating old hash to tempt you to invest. Only buy if you can navigate around the placings. Currently SP is heading to 0.18p & a placing announcement will drop it to 0.16p.
"Some oil" is the same as "no oil" in commercial terms.
The time an analyst has published anything the market will have already moved. My prediction is that BOO will bounce off 31p. No clue how high but that depends on how the next RNS is taken. At some point this stock will fly but not for a while.
Keep watching just in case. 33p is still not bad but there is always cheaper & you can always miss the bus.

A turning point in fortunes is coming but its a slow bus ride at present.
At least we have Daytradenovice to keep ringing the bell.

There plenty of good figures when you look hard - https://www.similarweb.com/website/boohoo.com/#traffic - not long ago site visits were +16M. Lets hope its a continual trend.
Looking anywhere else at present may get you red-faced but not long to wait to change the Sandglass then BOO should find some legs.
DTN - this is what I think will happen, just like last year. About now the SP will start to drop in anticipation of end of year results being released in May which are expected to be within guidance (2023 revenue down -11% on year 2022). This time last year SP was around 55p with a sharp drop to 37p (May 10th). Shorts probably played their part in that 33% drop. Now, pulling away from 37p seems to have no steam so a MM trick to get volume moving is to help drop the SP before the results come in. Unlikely to fall below 31p but will bounce back hopefully with greater volumes. I am hoping the next RNS mentions a timeline for being back to profits sooner than 2025/6. In short BOO will drop for the next 4-5 weeks.
The higher the SP, the lower the trading volume it would seem. All are being put off by the incoming year end results & a pending 12% drop in the SP.
It only takes one big player to make the move & everyone will be caught on the back foot as BOO rockets. That's the hopeful outcome. March was good for retail but is the trend upwards or flat-lining?

Lots of comings & goings doesn't look good when the officers on deck are jumping ship.
You could call it dynamic leadership where you only in the roll for your best performance. Not helping the decline in revenue or the SP at present but we all know where the promised land is - sail on - there she blows....
