Recent Matalan & Next ads have been so much better than Debenhams. For Debenhams to really succeed it requires money & good management. Brand recognition through influencers & a pop-up stand at a racecourse won't cut it. Should anyone be interested in graves - heard on the news today that cemeteries will impose a 100 year rule on graves unless a request is received to extend.

Doesn't apply to war graves. So if you think 100 years is fair, then room can be made for others to enjoy. Having seen many graves turn in to the ground & left to rot it is probably a good idea as the spirit probably flew off long before the body was boxed. Most bones turn to dust after 50 years unless they are Egyptian of course as they had the perfect climate & structures to preserve them. Everything rots at the local church. Hope would be on the positive side but what would be underpinning expectations? Site visits require sales conversion without returns which is a small percentage of the site visits. Having seen the SP drop before the release of a trading update before, I am only too aware of a likely dolphin chart & it's just started the dive. Clever little sea creatures they are too.

It's as clear as day this company is being ground down by poor decisions & directions (putting holy cross warriors to one side).

Media campaigns are expensive & give a company a shop window (in the modern age of advertising) to those that are interested enough to look. Sales come from the younger age groups for whatever product that is being pushed. Stick an image of Twiggy, Wogan or Ghandi on an ad campaign & it immediately places a limit on the target audience. Xmas campaign was dreadful. Last year's flower shows have turned out as a pointless exercise. This years Cheltenham donkey race campaign has made a horse laugh. Just gimmicks & a lack of talent for media. If the brands are not being pushed well, you don't get an audience then what customers you do get, you treat them as a commodity. Dan you fail at every hurdle & still the paid crowd clap happy.
