This is my final message to you ...but do you not understand the Premier Share Price dropped a whopping 37 % Thursday / Friday ....By the time I had posted anything the damage had already done ... Anything I post is going to make little difference to that ....It is not about competition between what is ( or was ) a mid cap oil company and an A I M company ....I was very fortunate that I sold my shares a few days before the share price collapsed ...That why I cannot help but feel sorrow for some of the poor souls who have lost much of their savings that they may have been depending on at a future time I'm their life .... Anyway to give you some peace of mind I regarded this an exceptional case to see if a tip to some of these poor souls.. ( sorry Premier Shareholders ) may help them but from next week the past with Premier will be the past ...Sorry you can rest your angry little mind and get a good night's sleep ..

No ..you are not understanding that some Investors have lost 80 % of their hard earned savings with Premier..I felt really sorry for one person who said that he will not make it to retirement age and wanted this money to give him a bit of pension ...You sound like you got a pretty cold heart for people in this situation ...Maybe you should come up with some ideas of what people can do in this situation .. instead of worrying about people like me who are only trying to see if something can be done to help people in this awful situation ... When Gold does well this is usually bad for oil and vica versa ...at the moment as both are faltering it is very difficult to predict which one will come out on top ..time will tell ...

Err ...just wish to say thanks for providing some basic info on what is happening with the rig etc ( just by coincidence I was trying to find out more information at the time of posting this )....I tend to class myself as a sell fast / get out quick investor when share prices are falling ...this served me very well just recently with the Premier Oil share price collapse in which I manage to hang on to most of what I had invested except for a very minor loss ...but this time I know it would be a mistake to do with this with U J O as the share price should be bouncing back up in the near future on the near term good news etc...

I tried to post to the Premier Shareholders that they may be better to take the losses on the chin and reinvest in U J O where as least they may salvage some of their losses back by October in relation to Wressle coming online etc...But the feed back was basically Premier is a mid cap oil company while U J O is an A I M company ...Some of their shareholders have experienced losses in the region of 80% !!!!..The Premier share price has dropped 36 to 37 % in the space of two days .
If they prefer to sit with these losses for who knows how long that is up to them ...But I know what I would definitely be doing had I been in that situation ...But each investor has to make their own choices of course ...

A message to ..All at sea .( I don't wish to knock the Premier Share today for anyone else as I Know this is an awful situation to be in )...You say you won't reach pension age and you are 80% down ...This is my own suggestion .. You could take your losses on the chin and reinvest in Union Jack Oil..This will only cost you less than a third of a penny ( which means you could buy quite a number with less money ) and you may make a decent gain by October ( or at least salvage something from this debacle ) but it would take to long to explain here why I suggest this for ...Or alternatively you can sit it out with Premier but if I was in your shoes I would say what have you got to lose ....My regards whatever you decide Lenin

Many thanks for your message ...At the time of posting the Premier Share still seems to be in freefall dropping another 11% on top of yesterdays 25%....I think there share chat will be full of angry messages..

Many thanks for your message ...On the Premier Share Chat ..I tried to explain to their (unfortunate) shareholders that if they were still .interested in holding shares in the Oil Sector that their hard earned cash would be safer at least with a company that is debt free ...U J .O .( unlike the heavily indebted Premier ).....It was pointed out to me that U J O is an A I M company that produces nowhere near as much as Premier ...But I replied. .you know the saying ...Size isn't everything ...but in this case big company debts are everything !!!!? As I had only sold my shares in Premier a few days earlier ..today it was like watching the Titanic ( Premier ) ..from the safety of a little lifeboat. ( U J O ) ..I was awe struck at the 25% drop in the share price .which I narrowly avoided ....Of course I am hoping the U J O lifeboat will take me to a brighter future !!...Lenin

Yes of course your correct ..but size isn't everything !!!!...Or put it another way ..as I sold my shares in Premier only a few days ago... today it was like watching the sinking Titanic ( Premier) ...I was awstruck watching the 25% drop in the share price ) from the safety off a little life boat
( U J O )which I am hoping will lead to a brighter future as an investor .... However my genuine commiserations for the share holders left on the Titanic Premier !!! Fate is a sometimes funny and other times not funny thing to happen to people in life .....

Each individual investor must make their own choices as what to do with their hard earned money when it comes to investing in shares ...But for myself if it is a choice between debt free U J O ( even if they are a small cap company )... or heavily indebted Premier ...as well as NOT experiencing a 25 % drop in the value of my shares then I know which is my preference ...But each to their own as they say !!!

I am not in a situation where I can provide detailed info ...but obviously it is going to be a lot cheaper to drill and pump oil and gas U K onshore than say out at sea etc...but from my understanding it cost 17;and 1/2 dollars a barrel approx ) to have the oil pumped out at Wressle near S****horpe ...How can they not make a reasonable profit on that ???Even with Brent Crude at current prices !!!!

Fair enough ..but as they can get the oil out of the ground for circa 17 and a half dollars a barrel at Wressle when the current price of Brent Crude is circa 45 dollars a barrel that seems like a no brainer to me .. especially when compared to the cost of getting oil out of the North Sea!!!!

Yes but U J O have a 40 % stake at Wressle which should be pumping oil out of the ground later this year

The safest option with shares in the oil sector is to hold them in a company that has no debts ...at least massive share price drops like these can be avoided there are companies out there like U J O

I sold my Premier Shares Friday at a very minor loss ( now in U J O ) when I became concerned what direction the movement of the share was heading towards ...But my Jaw Dropped this morning because even I did not expect a fall of over 20%...My sincere commiserations to the shareholders who have become the bagholders here ... On Friday I sold all my shares in Premier Oil and then brought shares in U J O because of uncertainties about P M O ...My jaw dropped this morning when I saw the Premier Oil shares dropped by over 20% on the back of half year results and a possible share dilution...At the momment I consider U J O to be a flight to safety ...let alonee any possible gains I ( and all other shareholders here )may make by October etc....Lenin

I like to study historical share charts as well ....One thing interesting to note about U J O is during 2014 the share price spiked upwards to nearly .45p per share and bounced up and down at this level until October of that year and was then followed by an equally spectacular fall from which it followed a slow path downwards until the later part of last year ... Working on the assumption that the share price should climb higher than .45p fairly soon .. this will have taken U J O six years to hopefully power past this previous share price ...What the reason for this happening back in 2014 I have absolutely no idea ... possibly there maybe someone who knows the history of this company who may be able to post something on this interesting episode as to why the U J O share went so high at this time ...never to be equalled until now ...

It's good to hear on the message board people being positive about the future share price (or near future share price of this company ....For some strange reason shares that I have owned seem to have an annoying habit of going down on a rainy day and then going back up again when the sun comes out !!! Here's to a dry Autumn !!!!,??..
