Before investing I tried to find out the reasons for the share price spike and fall in the later part of last year ....Now someone with better knowledge of the company is welcome to correct me if they think I have not given accurate information as I did not know of U J O at this time but I believe the drop was because of a combination of reasons rather than just one reason ...There was the initial investor interest in the West Newton A drill test which Rathlin Energy suspended after find an oil column as well gas ...( now I understand U J O is a partner but at the time the test was suspended I do not know to what extent ) bit this definitely matches when the share price started to fall back late August ( before the placement )...then of course the what I understand to be the botched placement issue but no doubt this would have been complicated by the start of the Corona Virus lockdown ...Just take a look at the shares of many different companies and they follow the same pattern for this period ...Yes I understand if you have been an investor for 3 years then of course frustration has set in .To be honest I could say the same about my personal pension provider who has delivered abysmal results despite supposedly being a professional fund manager ...But running down the share or company is not going to make any difference ...It's either a straight choice of being patient / sell accept a loss or the gain already made if it is only small and try another company .but this will carry a completely different set of risk of course ....

Many thanks ...I do have shares in U J O but although I know it is not always easy I try to take an all round view ..if it is possible for any investor to do that ... enjoy a relaxing Sunday before the next week of U J O drama ....

One thing I mentioned in a recent previous post is that it is not the placing that is an issue for me.. but a possible spanner in the works is the near term future price of Brent Crude which could potentially have an impact on profits at Wressle ..but that would depend on how low the price will go from where it is now around just under $40 a barrel ...( Break even is $ 17 and 1/2 a barrel at Wressle ) .....But as an ex Premier Investor one thing I am certain off is U J O has a much lower exposure to the price of Brent Crude then either Premier or Tullow and off course they carry massive debts which could potentially lead to Premier or Tullow going bankrupt ...

At this stage the prediction of the future movement off this share is open to a large range of opinions from as low as .003 p to as high as
3 p ..It depends of course on the faith ( or lack of faith ) of the individual Investor and what he has invested in...But if I had no faith what I had invested in I would simply prefer to take my money out than post messages running down the share ..But then each to their own ...

P S... Just especially for the idiot who posted a message saying this is the.. most uninvestable share on the stock market ... perhaps he should take a look at .. Hurricane Energy or possibly a company such as Rockhopper ...for that accolade there are many more that could be in for that prize but U J O is not one of them !!!!!

I would love to see this share start to go back up either this week or next week ...I have seen doom laden predictions on this message board of .15p ( the price of the supposed placing ) .12 p or .03 p not to mention an outrageous claim this is the most uninvestable share on the stock market ...The problem is there are people too quick to post messages without stopping to think about the situation of the company in its entirety ...If it was a share dilution to pay for unaffordable debts I could understand but to raise money for future investing within the company ..means some people on this site need to be educated how companies use different methods to raise money to grow their company ...If you buy a house I you.have to raise money to buy it called a mortgage .. Straight away the individual will get better terms than say somebody who rents who borrows for a personal loan because the amount of money borrowed is much larger and can be secured off course ..The reverse will be true if a company is relying on a large scale lender or lenders for funding ...It may not seem fair but it is the way of business ..If a person had placed for example a few thousand pounds within the company why should they expect identical treatment to maybe someone (or institution who could potentially lend millions ... Lending millions is a much greater amount of money to lose if something went disastrously wrong ..I say either except the situation or if people think it's unfair then stand by your principles and sell out ....I am sure their will be plenty waiting on the sidelines to buy back in again ....

Larger and especially Mid cap oil companies with higher cost and debts are already feeling the pain if one was to look at the vulnerability of their share price ...

I keep on thinking the share price by Christmas time should have climbed to a decent level with all the good news coming soon.. The only spanner in the works for me is nothing to do with the assumed placing ...( maybe I am of the few on here who does not have an issue with the subject ) ..but the price of oil ...I understand the beak even at Wressle is $17and a 1/2 ...The current price of Brent Crude has fallen back to below $40 with some predicting because of a build up again in the U S A etc...the price will fall even lower maybe mid 30s etc ...U J O should still make a profit but to what effect would this have a bearing on investor sentiment ????...Maybe it will not make any difference but it may depend on how low the price of oil will go ...

Why I can't stand is so many negative share holders constantly moaning all the time ....Why not invest in something else if you don't have faith in U J O.!!!!

Dear Mr Takeaimandfire you are a person completely without any values in life when you.accuse people of things with out any actual reasonimg to do that ....I would suggest reading what is posted on these sites in future much more careful before throwing accusations at people that is just harmful....Go to Specsavers first just I'm case...

No you did not read the post correctly ...I never said U J O was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy....I have shares in U J O after all ....I said the share price fall is akin to a company teetering on the edge of bankruptcy ...I am aware that U J O have good finances

Yes .the sell off over the last 2 to 3 weeks is equal to a company teetering on the edge of bankruptcy .....and as far as I understand U J O have very good financials ....Why the mass panic ??? Sheep stay more calm when being approached by a sheep dog !!!!

Sorry as a more recent Investor I now know what I would describe as some basics about the company but not necessarily fine details / certain individuals ...not really aware of Chris Bailey ...When I came back into U J O recently as a former investor in Premier I sold out 3 days before their massive share price crash and then have gone straight into the share price drop of UJO though I managed to sell and buy the shares again 3x so far to soften the impact downwards as well as topping up earlier today ...Just hope we should reach the floor soon and then we will be in an uptrend ...

Hi am interested in your comment ...the thing that causes me concern is not the subject of placing ..but the fact that the price of oil seems to be going backwards with the build up of W T I Oil in the states ...I know that UJO should be a onshore cost producer but another oil price collapse is the issue such as in March ..

To view the drop of this share on a graph of the last 3 weeks is spectacular ...It is akin to a company teetering on the edge of bankruptcy ...The good thing is whenever the floor is reached it should be sooner and then maybe the mass panic will be over and then hopefully there should.be a mass panic to get back in .....Even sheep stay more calm when running away from the sheepdog !!!!...

Well stating that ..you believe... a place of .15 p will take place on Monday is totally different from saying you believe a placing will take place at a later date at a higher price ....I just cannot understand why people think they can say anything they like on this site with no actual evidence to back what they are saying ...I advice any newbies to treat all the half baked statements on this site with the scepticism ( or in my case contemp ) they deserve......
