It may be a double off a good price for the diamond and better financials in July that should have a positive effect ....Also diamond prices have been trending upwards since last April so the stars are looking perfectly aligned for a second half year recovery for the Petra share price ....

Obviously nobody knows at this stage what the 40 carot blue diamond will be auctioned for in July after it has been displayed in a number of cities across the world .. but it is interesting to note that in September 2019 Petra recovered a 20 Carot blue diamond and after being displayed in Johannesburg it sold for 14.9 million dollars ...

An article from early February states that the price off a blue diamond is on average over 26 000 dollars for half a Carot .but can be much more than this depending on how vivid the colour blue is in the diamond ...One can only wonder what the value of Petras Blue Diamond which is just under 40 Carots will be when the Auction starts on July the 12 th ....

The diamondse.info diamond prices index shows a very healthy increase for the.. diamond prices index.. during the month of May increasing by an average of 1.7% which continues a trend upwards from the low point of April 2020...

I am unable to pinpoint a specific date but there is a F Y 2021 Trading Update in July.. according to the Petra Events Calendar ...

Excuse me for my lack off knowledge/or understanding ...but I am confused my conflicting information that I am reading off who owns what in Petra as regards to the amount of shares ...On the Petra presentation page I read that 91% of shares are owned byNote / Bond Holders .( this I originally just assumed to be various financial institutions that Petra may have owed money to etc...)..With the rest around 9% towned by the previous Petra share holders which in the main I assumed to be the general public ..... ...But on a different site I read that around 53% of the shares are owned by larger financial institutions etc ...plus Hedge Funds with the public owning around 47% ... Without this meaning to sound like a stupid question does that mean a larger portion of the public could be Bond Holders as well ??? If not the numbers in terms of percentages do not add up ......How was it known that the bond holders etc..paid 3.2 pence a share and in connection to the previous question what is the percentage that paid this ???.... Many thanks for any shareholder who can throw some light on what seems like conflicting information .. Regards Lenin

According To Simply Wall St ....Petra Diamonds should post a final loss for 2020 before returning to profit during 2021 ...This is forecast to be around $ 65 Million based on a 44 % growth rate ...In practice Petra Diamonds may possibly out preform this forecast based on the fact that the recent Diamond Price rises seem to be speeding up again over the last month ...

This is one share where in the last 12 / 13 months it is impossible to read any particular trend from a poor few days ...Last March this was sub 1.20 and then doubled in value by April and then again sub 1.30 very end of July before the share price went over 2 pence by September ... Hopefully with much better fundamendals ( as regards to Petra and Diamond Prices etc ...) the next uplift will be more permanent and long lasting ...

Just been reading an amusing article online ..about a groom who spent $20 000 dollars on a diamond engagement ring for his fiance but when the bride became suspicious that the stone was so large he had to explain that it was a lab Grown Diamond ... Apparently she called him an ******* and walked out on him and has gone back to her parents after he refused to exchanged it for a proper mined diamond ....I think this serves as a warning for any man who thinks a woman will be happy with something that is not the real McCoy !!!!!

Simply wall.Street estimate the value of Petra Diamonds Shares at over 4 pence a share after all the company metrics are considered ....

Many thanks for your reply ...I have studied the movement of this share for a while now and increased my holding earlier today as it seems to me to be well worth a punt ... it is interesting to note that in the last 12 months just when the share price seems to be on a downward spiral it can suddenly go suddenly go shooting back up again .. hopefully with an improving situation for the diamond market the next uplift maybe more long lasting ...Good Luck to all long and short term share holders here ...

I have a question to ask for a more experienced long term share holder here with good knowledge of the diamond industry ....does Pandora's decision not to sell mined diamonds have any effect as regards to Petra or not at all ??? I am thinking of increasing my holding here but I understand the risk associated with penny shares so I will give an advanced many thanks for anyone who can awnser my query .... Regards Lenin...

Okay ..So I know it's not absolutely nailed on at this moment in time ...but this stock hit the low point around the 21 at of April at just over 17 pence and seems to have gone into a gentle uptrend since this date ...With oil prices on the rise there should be slowly increasing investor confidence that Harbour can pay down their debts as the margin is quite wide at this moment in time between the oil price just at sub $70 a barrel and what it is Harbour cash flow break even point supposedly around $35 a barrel ...

I cannot stop thinking when the price of oil very briefly spiked upwards to circa. $70 a barrel early March.. the Premier share price shot up to over 30 Pence around the same time .....This time it possibly looks like the price of oil will soon be retesting that early March high but with improving fundemendals behind the climb ... hopefully the Harbour Energy Share Price may soon go past that early March high ...
