Aw Blackberry ...I know nothing about the company but I still have my old blackberry phone stashed away in the cupboard ....How many years I wonder I need to save it and then one day it will become antique and collectable ????... Possibly I may have to wait a bit to long !!!

U S A Oil Inventories are now just 6 % above the 5 year average ..the lowest since April last year ...the problems of the world oil glut seems to be fading fast and this is during a difficult period for the world economies ...O P E C and the other Oil producing nations have learned their lessons from last year and will not repeat the same mistakes because of the cost to their economies ...Soon the bad / or poor sentiment by investors etc.towards the Oil Companies should become a distant memory ...

The E I A in the U S A this afternoon report a whopping 9. 9 millions oil barrel Inventory Draw for the weekend to the 22 nd January smashing a predicted increase of 600 000 barrels ..Notice how the Oil Stocks suddenly recover late in the afternoon ... Assuming the inventory draws continue during this difficult period for the world economy there is no reason why shares in Oil Company will not soon climbing back much higher again ...

Yes market sentiment is part of the share price movement ...but oil drawdowns do usually support oil prices which play the ultimate role on the direction of the share price of oil stocks. ..In other words the higher upwards movement of the oil price ...the higher the direction of the oil share price ...

In the U S A an unexpected Crude Oil drawdown by the A P I of just under 5.3 million barrels was reported to the 22 nd January against a predicted much smaller drawdown of 430 000 barrels ..it shows oil is very much in demand even during lockdowns !!!

Despite all the doom and gloom for the world economy and its use of oil it seems that supply issues with oil should give strong support to the prices ..Iraq has pledged to cut its output January/February to compensate for overproduction of its quota agreed with OPEC last year / Libya has halted some crude exports while a pay dispute continues just as their oil exports had returned to some sort of normality ..
/ Russia will reduce its Oil exports from the Urals by around 20 % in February / even the New President Joe Biden wants to do his bit for the oil supply crunch by stopping the Canada / U S A keystone XL pipeline and introducing a 60 day ban on oil and gas auctions for drilling on Federal Land which means very likely the U S A will end up having to import more oil ...The near to medium term looks an interesting market for oil ...

I have a theory that for some reason.. some shareholders here ( amongst other companies ) simply scare more off easily ... Whatever the issues with the Corona Virus/ Lockdowns etc...B P is a giant which can easily whether the storm ...But take a company such as Cineworld for example ..this is not to wish anything bad for their shareholders but .they are much more financially exposed to the current climate with serious debt issues yet their share price goes up over 4 % today ....I can only think to say do not panic and hopefully some sort of sense about the situation with B P as compared to other companies may eventually prevail ...

Iraq has said it is cutting it's oil production for January / February to make up for its share of quota cuts ...add on Saudi Arabia's additional voluntary cuts ,it is looking positive for the price of oil which off course B P is sensitive to .

Do not be confused into thinking for one moment any church organisation is getting some sort of ..Higher Guidance From Above ..over ordinary shareholders when it comes to owning shares and when to sell them ,especially when it comes to Oil Companies .!!!!.. Early last year the Methodist Church lost millions when it dumped it's Shares in B P and Total just at the low point of the Oil Price crash to which straight afterwards they both made a semi recovery ....It's okay to listen to others but always best to act on one's own instincts !!!..

Unless it is something that I do not know about other investors then I simply do not understand the logic behind shares ...I mean there was bad economic news out this morning but apparently clothing has been hardest hit ...So on that basis although I wish nothing bad on their investors/ shareholders the likes of Marks and Spencers or Ted Baker etc should be feeling the pain more than B P today ...Not unless some B P shareholders scare off more easily regardless off any poor economic news regardless of the sector effected ...

I have seen target prices for all sorts of shares but do they really have any useful meaning...I mean what if the supposed target price was reached ... Would it mean we are supposed to all sell out or buy in depending on whether it was higher or lower ????..I have my own target price for B P I would be happy with but this could be totally different to another shareholder depending on at which point he or her brought the share / or if he was a day traded or long-term holder / of if he was hoping to short the stock / or just here for dividends etc...If you are hoping for an increase in the share price ..issues such as increasing revenue / profit margins /.. earnings per share etc...are the most important things to concentrate on ...

I cannot comment on the current situation regarding the 2 shares but I remember a while back I sold my Loyds Shares but pressed the wrong number too sell ...I was left with 2 unsold shares worth around 70 pence but it would have cost me another £12 to sell these shares with my trading app...Now I have brought back into Loyds again when I sell next time I will make sure I do not repeat the same mistake!!!

Just been reading that the Banks will be charging 35% interest on small / large businesses etc..after they had received emergency relief loans under the 19 Billions Loan Fund Scheme which were interest free but this interest free period
comes to an end in March ..so a sort of delayed payback time for the Banks ..Sectors such as travel / Retail/ Tourism /Restaurants are in the firing line with some big names possibly going under ...Be careful what else you may hold shares in !!!!!

You may wish to take a look at A I M Union Jack Oil ..I should first state clearly I do not currently hold shares in this company as I had recently sold out after a spike in the share price but my wife is a share holder ....They should have a big jump.in revenue from February onwards when a place called Wressle near S****horpe will be producing oil and U J O have a 40 % stake ...But be warned A I M is not for the for people who lose sleep at night with worries about what could happen to their money ...Just a smaller number of people can cause these type of shares to make large up or down movements and off course the spread can be bigger as well ...If you take a look I would advise to avoid Egdon Resources who are in charge of Wressle as they carry much bigger debt whereas U J O have a good balance sheet ...Good Luck where ever you decide to invest .... I have been trying to figure out where the Loyds share price is heading from here over the short to medium term .. Yesterday's forecast of a double dip recession is never good news for any domestic economy dependant business such as Loyds .. However the November figure of a 2.6 % drop ( announced yesterday) is much better than the 21.2 % drop which happened between April and June ...While the current lockdown will cause a bumpy start for the economy it should once again be much more mild as compared to the early part of last year with pent up spending demand increasing as the lockdowns come to an end ...So possibly on this basis I would say maybe a much more minor setback to the Loyds share as compared to the earlier part of last year then maybe followed by a bigger increase in the share price going at some point February as shares tend to run ahead of what is happening in the actual economy ...But this is only a guess as that is only what any forecast can be ..Good Luck all share holders here ...

There are some people here who seem to be upset that the Loyds Share has not gone parabolic in the last 12 months neglecting to to mention the Covid / the Lockdowns / one of the biggest economic contractions in history .etc....It's all very well an investo saying here they should have placed their money somewhere else but the idea an investor is going to do this and automatically make money is for the Birds !!!... Possibly with an A I M company one could do this but that also carries a very high risk potential ....As they say hindsight is a wonderful thing !!!
