The market activity that exists is far more likely by leaks from BoDs, banks, lawyers, consultants, suppiers, and their grannies, than the potential acquiring business.

There is no single algorithm for calculating a price. It will certainly not take into account the current sp. They will evaluate what part of the business they want, by looking at income/profit over x-years, and then offer 10-30% of that less whatever the projected marketing costs to get sales up to the desired level. They will probably buy a few shares (say £100) but why would they tie up serious capital in a deal that could fall through (then risk divesting shares in a falling market). Far more important to keep a low profile and not encourage a spike until a deal is done.

My understanding is that we are not participating in vaccine development for CV19 at all, BUT we have a product that potentially reduces symptoms and damage by the virus. The treatment was not developed for CV19, but rather for cancer treatment, however trials so far suggest it has no harmful side effects on the CV19 context, but we need to provide some more evidence that it could be beneficial to cv19 sufferers. We are being given a grant to prove this is the case, and to give a firmer indication of when in the CV19 lifecycle would be the best time to deploy it AND whether it should be administered as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with one or more of the vaccines currently being trialed. Feel free to put me right as my knowledge is limited to O'level biology.

So trend is on the up, and cashews next spring should add more value to keep it going that way. Hope to see us back to double digits in 18 months.

Bur some mouths have double portions (and then some). The share "giveaway" has conditions to prevent selling for a year - so sp is not likely to be hit for some time. We had a good RNS last month and hopefully an even better one next week, sotrend

Although there is dillution, the shares are locked in for 12 months. By then we should be generating cash, and the sp wikl be on an uowards trajectory, so there will be a dis-inclination to divest those shares until the sp levels off, if then. Fairly sure these 28.5m shares are a long term hold, and who knows, DKL could buy them back, if they have cash in the kitty - which would boost the sp yet again.

Just testing as no trades reported and no chat either.

So the CPO price is about 12.25% higher than last month (having converted to euros) - the sp surged to 2.6p 3 weeks ago, maybe it reaches new heights on the next monthly report (Fri/Mon). Good to see some positive news that adds to the profit margin, but with an avg of 5.8, I will not be making any sudden moves.

Are the terms of this or anticipated grants likely to be made public? It would be interesting to know what the aims/goals are, and by when the results are expected.

Not so much an adative as a primer. As I see it, it makes the immune system more accepting of the vaccine, thus more effective and may extend the period of immunity. I guess the trials will define its efficacy more exactly - alone and in combo.

Most day traders follow the trends, invest to make 20% then bale out. They keep their own counsel and contribute to demand, thus moving us onward and upward. I only have issues with the disingenuous, who try to talk down the prospects for their own interests, trying to spook investors into selling before potential is reached.
Be aware of the demand for sound, tested products with minimal side effects. We are in that fortunate position, but must be patient as each milestone or trial takes as long as it takes. Fortunately several are reaching a point of conclusion within the next 12 weeks or so. Keep a tight grip until at least one or two positive results have been officialy announced and both investors and recipients can cellebrate great news. Beware of the "tree shake", typically an early morning ploy when MMs are expecting high demand. AIM is not the place for pe-set top losses - use them at your peril.

Within the ISA wrapper you can buy & sell whatever stock you like with no tax penalty. HMRC are only concerned that no more than £20k pa goes into the ISA. If you transfer money from a regular share account, it must be converted to cash (shares cannot be moved, only cash) - so there may be CGT to pay. Technically, the share price may change during the time between selling shares from the regular account and buying them in the ISA but most brokers offer a "Bed & Isa" service which means the switchover is virtually instantaneous so the spread and transaction fee is minimised.

Maybe an RNS will drop at 7am, which will explain the sudden rise - but give it 9 more weeks and today's sp will be forgotten.

I wonder whether covid situation will continue to influence the palm oil price as it hits us through the winter months, compounded by 'flu outbreaks. It could hit production in countries more vulnerable.

It will be interesting to see if any investment pundits pick this up for the Sunday columns.

It has been a long wait, but agricultural businesses are like that. Having averaged down, I still need over 20% more to break even but 7.6p is probably still way off a return to "dividend country". Hoping for another good year to follow with plenty of fruits and nuts.
