what are people's views about the timing of the next placing? - if any this year...

I can now see his Twitter account and saw no mention of AST on it.

It was only mentioned on Advfn yesterday (Saturday), allegedly reporting a Twitter post of his (which I cannot view). It was alleged 2-3 weeks ago that an associate of his had attended the 27 Feb presentation, so my guess is that he bought after that presentation, and that he is now trying to drum up excitement so that he can sell at the best price he can get... It’s all speculative of course.

He would not reveal his intention to buy if he weren’t loaded up already: otherwise he’d be buying at a premium. I suspect that (if he has indeed bought and said so via Twitter (his account is visible for followers only)) he is holding or is even seeking a rise so as to offload... But WTFDIK!

Scott - you know it does not work like that. On paper it does look alright for an amateur researcher. Only a pro will understand the political issues vs the cash flow situation etc.

I will not be there: I didn’t think I’d get anything new, and that show is not really a quality event IMO.

Low 0.30s is a strong resistance. However, NUOG raising as little as 0.250k worth of shares, for such a discount, suggets it's struggled to convince the Nomad / Broker because its business situation probably didn't look good.

I wouldn't put in more than a few hundred quids if anything really.

All those partnership agreement with various well-known companies, without anything apparently binding and/or no specifics smelt of pumps to keep sentiment going IMO.

My genuine sympathies to the holders - even to those who have bullied the posters who did not fully buy into the company's proposition.

That placing was bound to happen... they didn't get to raise much money though.

I thought the restimulation permit would have been granted after everything that had happened, and it still hasn't...

For once, the timing of my share purchase (early this morning, after selling of my AST) has been good!...

JB certainly did, but people have been grossly distorting what JB said.
Those machines are made on demand, not available off-the-shelf, so it takes a few months to get them ordered, the parts delivered, and assembled on site.
However, vendor finance was also mentioned, i.e. the payment could be made later, not necessarily upfront (at least, not the whole of it).

That's not true: that was discussed at the 27 Feb presentation, and followed by the PowerPoint subsequent shared, and repeated in the RNS of the 11 March.

(It does not mean it's worth a £160k salary though.)
