Appeal is relatively unlikely though - read one of the English language articles linked on Twitter from the NGO that was the most likely to appeal, and which is not planning to anymore due to the confirmation from ARSO that no fracking is involved.

A massive difference vs last year is that the award (subject to an unlikely appeal) of the IPPC permit is now official. It's not a verbal promise.

I'm sure that some of the interested parties are looking again at Ascent right now.

Jester - I don't regret having sold earlier.

I did it on the basis of things said / done by the company that were in contradiction with earlier statements from teh BoD, as I stated back then. I was being (at long last!) reasonable with my money.

The official (vs verbal promises of last year) award of the IPPC permit (subject to a possibility of appeal, though it is unlikely - read the articles) was a change in circumstances that made me change my position regarding Ascent.

Actually, my buy back average of today is around 0.34p - in multiple tranches.

I bought after seeing the articles and in particular the NGO director's quote in one of the publications.

But I timed my buy back very decently.

3-4 English and Slovenian language articles report that the IPPC permit has been granted, subject to a right of appeal for a specific NGO. However, the director of the latter was reported as not interested in filing an appeal.

You take if from there.

(No restim permit granted, but that director apparently mentioned his conclusion that no fracking was involved so not interested in taking action for that reason... if all reported accurately of course.)

Considering we are on the extra volatile world of AIM, the SP is holding very well today.

RNSs are never reissued. I understand that for a start, it costs money to issue one. It also screams of desperation whenever a company feels like it has to repeat the same update - a little less so when that update is restated by means of comments / explanations in a subsequent interview or podcast.
But even so, the OGA approval was just one small step we all expected to be accomplished, so I doubt the team of Angus will deem it necessary to use up its valuable time commenting on it now instead of working on the ground to stick to the schedule it gave...

No big surprise, but always good to have it confirmed. And within the timescale given by the company as well. This bodes well for Angus's ability to stick to its promises from now on...
