Matrix - you could practically say the same thing to those who do mindless ramps, particularly with claims of 10m buy having been ordered. Aren't they trying to manipulate the price too?! At least MRPlumper and DELSTER have drawn the line under an outrageous claim done this afternoon that nobody challenged because that claim was convenient for them. There is a lot hypocrisy on this board where nobody questions a mindless ramp - or such a ramp is justified by others under the guise of "enthusiam".

The MMs have probably raised the advertised (vs real) ask to make it look like the SP has risen much more than it has to attract interest. People should watch closely the value of the buys vs the sells to see whether today's (real) increase looks to be sustained.

They would be looking for trouble with their Nomad and possibly the FCA if they did that. I do not believe there were such hints, but admittedly the words used could have been a little clearer.

IIRC they speak of them still "restoring production", so not yet.

Nothing much added, except for the suggestion that there were two (additional??) well bores that could be exploited to expand operations at GH, which suggests that it is even less likely for PVF to need drilling from scratch to get the next well completed. However, I'm not impressed with Simon saying that the existing activities off shore East of NF are evidence that there is a lot of oil around (I'm roughly paraphrasing.). In fact, the off-shore oil fields east of NF are part of the Jeanne d'Arc basin, which is quite remote from the actual island itself and nowhere near the west of NF. IIRC (pls somebody correct me if I'm wrong.), the oil of GH is more related to a geological formation that's connected to the Appalachian moutains. very differen geology.). Brian H could have commented on that!...

Am I deaf or this interview added nothing whatsoever, except for the mention of “above 50 million boe”? (50m boe is about half the amount bandied about for GH on this forum, so I certainly hope that the MFDevCo deals that they are after are for much bigger fields, considering how long everyone has been waiting for) Even Doc Holiday sounded hazy and put in the same bag Simon’s visit of NF with the creation of the new MFDevCo Brazil and China entities. Doc H isn’t a Justin Waite but I found this interview especially poor and unfocused. Any other (reasoned please) thoughts anyone?...
