Luckcounts. A takeover would not get the required level of shareholder approval unless terms were very favourable. The issue is that for many on the register, the current price is simple to far away what may be considered reasonable value and therefore it would not get the required support. It's too fragmented for anyone to do be doing anything covert.

Also Messer's Box and Reid would unlikely be complicit as it'll mean they'd be out.

Yes. Kinda obviously people loading up and a falling price is just a series of misjudged purchases. I've done it before, been there done that. I'll keep waiting for something good to happen, thanks. Shakey - I don't rate management highly enough to think they have a grand plan to take the company private. That CFO, Box, looks like the sort of chap whose mother dresses him in the morning. No chance he's planning world domination etc.

The only issue is that if they're going to get out, they just going to do it regardless of the price because of their institutional red lines.

Agree with upomega. Special Divis will just go off the cap. The smartest thing to would be a modest sharebuyback with a forward plan of sensible divis. Given I am a holder from relatively high levels I'd be reluctant for mgt to be profligate.

Except the development odds are very low as things stand.
