I agree with thisisaim, the only reason to pay above 11p would be to build a stake. Something is going to emerge IMO. We might be saved from this duff deal!

I didn't buy SDX for 10% and i don't buy the capitulation argument he puts forward.

The price will look different after a proper buyback campaign. I would have been putting every penny into the buyback.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting such a large fall. I have bought some more and will buy again if it heads down further. Quite the opportunity IMO!

My view, is that once the transaction completes value is eroded, yes, you *might* get a short term hit. You might not. The deal is theft from shareholders and should be voted down.

Legache,I have never said what the prices will be at the date of merger.I have said what the uplift is at the present time which is all anyone can do.Just the facts

Great, well stop saying there's going to be a "30% uplift on merger". As you say, this is subject to chnage.

I think it's important that those of us who have read the proposal help other PIS understand it correctly. Particularly as the vote is still open.

This is a bad deal based on any accounting metric you want to name.

Ned, how many times have i said, you do not know there will be 30% "uplift" - it will be whatever it is when the deal completes.

Legache,This is a merger so you have got to look at the attractions of the partner company too to work out the benefits of the deal.This is difficult for us in UK but the average analyst price target is 4.5CAD so plenty of potential there.

So they have a target of x2 their cap. Most "analysts" target us at least x2 current cap, many up to x4 cap.

I'm not sure this is a good reason for voting yes!
