Maybe not, but i have been trading this and indeed, holding this for years and i have never seen someone willing to take such a large slice in one go. I think the basic maths are the relationship between the TNZ price and SDX price. They will now track each other IMO.

A good result today will push the TNZ price up.

None of this matters until the day of closure but certainly could trade up in the interim.

I can sell 40k GBP at above the bid 8.55 - never in the history of SDX has this been possible...

I'm with II and yes, while you can trade them i have found their brokering services to be absolute toilet. I have a small number of very large positions and on illiquid stocks, their brokers are too slow, even on the phone.

You can buy a Level 2 add on through [not threw] them, so that may be the way to go and to place my own orders directly on the book.

Maybe this is a good thing. On the face of it the price seems fairly low, but 10p feels like a worst-case scenario from here. You'd hope the market likes the deal and TNZ rises. SDX share and the price are now completely irrelevant. I wonder if they'll go ahead with the buyback - they haven't said they are not... Would be a total waste of money now...

Dumping 20% at a price they will be happy with is unlikely. More likely some sort of transfer.

It's only a bargain if the price is the same on the day the deal closes.

2. Its a decent fixed return with not a great amount of downside from 8.25p
3. We've finally got fid of box and reid. Hopefully, if we all vote not to re-elect them [vote by the 9th of June folks] then we can eject them without giving them any fees.
