Despite anyone's view on how our government has helped or hampered our own travel industry my concern is now other European governments. This Delta variant which is now being referred to in Europe as the UK Delta variant (aka Indian) will spread just as bad if not worse than it is doing. Europe's rhetoric and slow rollout will see higher hospitalisation rates. The wave may still be rising as the Autumn Winter approaches. Too much uncertainty for now but probably top of the list as a recovery play post pandemic.

On reflection maybe we’ll timed. Price is about the same as last week and investors will no longer be saying there has been no update as promised.
AlsoImm’s partner will not be concerned about updating the market as it does not affect their performance.
Poor PR probably suits their agenda because if any trial is successful then IMM can be picked off at a discount.
Reminds me very much of HVO a couple of years ago.
On the downside, due to funds running out in 2023 this is now a ‘one trick pony’ and any trial needs to be evaluated before then.

Difficult to predict here with the government swift change of policy in relation to travel and whether or not those countries will accept us with this D variant. On the plus side for shareholders, many of the shares are with Directors and sticky fingers so I think the sp will hold up at this level unless something else fundamentally changes.

Much the same was being posted on the PETS bb when I was buying them at £1.12. I do my own research and make my own decisions. Additionally everyone's investment plans are based on their own persona; circumstances and exposure to risk. Sadly the bb's are filled with many that see success purely based on a quick profit. Nothing wrong with that, time and patience is the most difficult thing to invest, not necessarily the cash.
Happy to take more shares with my dividend reinvestment plan at these levels... every cloud :)

SBRY has already been subject of a takeover in the past and TSCO MC is 3 x that of it's rivals. You would have to be offering circa 25 billion to tempt shareholders and that would still be cheap.

Like Asda, MRW will be asset stripped and sold off leaving a company that will be renting it's own stores back, paying for vehicles to deliver it's supplies and probably have EG on their forecourt.

Absolutely spot on. Asda will replace their garages under the EG branding owned by the 2 brothers. I believe Asda have sole or are the process of selling their logistics business. Managerial jobs are being cut and the 'shop floor' is cut to the bone.
Possibility of the offer being increased and some investors to see a return but for the business and staff this will be disastrous for them.

I'm currently at my average at 227 but of course I have my dividend to come. From a growth point of view they have probably reached their potential in relation to store sales. Returning the Asian business sale by way of the SD to investors was indicative of that. That said, the fundamentals and numbers look good.

look ok to me too. Especially Booker and online growth. Not losing marker share. Maybe get a few private investors moving on this morning but I am happy to stick with my investment with any added yield underpinning my original capital.
Maybe I get a different perspective of stores living in the NW of England but the main stores and Express stores are busy.

Surely the ‘ducks’ all lined up nicely for the supermarkets and particularly TSCO. So much cash is being spent in them at the moment. Travel restrictions, hot weather and of course the home nations European Football. Margins key too.
One off costs for C19 firmly in the past but additional staff costs could be a factor.
My view is that the ‘market’ is not always rational and wider market influences may also be a factor but I cannot see any surprises coming to those invested here.

I retired at 50 and moved my investments on the stock market into companies with less risk and paying a good yield from Capital invested. No strategy as such but protection of your retirement pot is essential.

Maybe Avion are lining IMM up for a cheap takeover. I would if I knew the potential of revenue it could generate and puts them in a position of not having to share

Surely ‘the market’ has already priced in the earnings. You don’t need a degree in accountancy to know they haven’t been trading.
I’m fact the sp has gone up on bad news from when it briefly fell to under 200p. Not sure where the sp will go now but when the industry opens up the sp will be very much higher than today’s close. After the RNS a couple of weeks ago you could assume £18 was more than reasonable.

I dont think there will be an over reaction by the marker as surely they expect earnings to be non existent. I suppose they will be looking more closely at how they are managing operating costs.
