May not be of interest to you but having made good money from the last 3 market crashes in the past I see a similar’smell’ about the current market valuation. Only difference now is the emergence of the ‘Bitcoin currency’
I see your previous posts are full of research and informative content.
PM companies now should be outperforming the market but they are not, Why is the billion dollar question.
My view is they will and timing is everything. In fact PMP will do better in this cycle than the last 4 market corrections.
Just trying to draw out some thoughts of experienced investors who are not just here to play a few chips at the Casino table.

Sold the majority of my shares yesterday and today. Not happy with the US market rebound and the valuation given the 5h1tsh0w position we all find ourselves in at the moment with the pandemic. Even sceptical analysts expected it to be under control by now but instead we have increasing variants.
Historically PM producers should be outperforming the wider markets. Something not quite right.
Not sure if we are in the midst of a ‘bull trap’ but I’m the past I have turned to PM producers but feel like I have to sit on cash.
Hopefully good news for holders here on the back of a strong close ‘across the pond’

the 704 trade has got a minus in front of it

A couple of £2 million trades reported late. Be interesting to see if there is any RNS tomorrow. Mr Meeson's last trade was £2m but probably coincidence.

Looks like the US has pulled the plug on trans Atlantic Travel. Further dent to sentiment tomorrow in an already twitchy market.

Read a Yahoo finance report last Friday into the pros and cons of investing here. I know most investors think in 'round numbers' but I am going to wait and see if it can get closer to 900p. Imo, only thing that will keep it closer to 1000p is no more negative news on popular med destinations.
I sold all my FTSE listed shares today apart from 1 company and feel in a better place to react to a very negative outlook.

I would guess some investors selling here to cover some of their other investments. Some companies seem in freefall with no positive news on the horizon.

I think this is about the wider markets. The company will be taking advantage of the low overseas holiday numbers and I think that would be reflected in the sp under normal trading conditions. Even my defensive share holding is coming under pressure.
Some investors will be chasing down and covering their averages but I’m sitting on my hands as news on all fronts seem negative. The market is very twitchy.

Good luck Jonnie with all your investments. If you are happy to hold then at some point this will turn. Reading some recent analyst reports on JET2, not all bleak. Very bullish about the future but concerns that debt is not covered by earnings (short term)

Not sure how you made a profit here. You bought 1000 @ 12.30 but they continued to fall. When they hit 11.75 you bought another 1000 and they again continued to fall. I assumed you bought a few k at the close on Thursday and sold yesterday.
Like I posted earlier in the week, if you're trading this share then you are very brave or know something the rest of us don't.
Sentiment is the driver here and at the moment that is not good.
I'm watching on the side-lines and would rather catch it on the way up rather than the way down.
Weekend press may further knock confidence with travel as they sensationalise the traffic light system and some travellers decide to cancel any plans to holiday overseas.

From memory Steve Heapey bought some shares when the sp seemed in decline without support. That prompted a reversal. The directors have all got a huge number of shares so it would be in their interests to stop the decline but with all this media attention every day stifles any appetite to buy.
I think the rise to £16 was on the back of people thinking the virus was under control but as we are told daily the opposite still exists.

TM has in the past raised funds immediately after positive news. In fact if he hadn't just before the readout of the last P3 Lupuzor trial then the company would no longer exist.
My guess he will do it when the FDA give the go-ahead.

As discussed yesterday sentiment is overriding fundamentals.
Hopefully any announcement tomorrow may bring some stability.

Feeling your pain over at RR. Hoping after selling TSCO your strategy was to buy in tranches. Not so sure it has bottomed out yet as sentiment in travel and aviation keeps getting knocked. Never known so much uncertainty in the markets before. Hopefully an experience we can all learn from.

Totally agree but I am talking about sentiment and uncertainty. Not all family members I take a holiday with are doubled jabbed.

Guys when the doom and gloom narrative changes to a more forward thinking narrative then the sp based on sentiment alone will take back to over 100p.
Last year I was kicking myself at buying MARS at just under 50p and PETS at 120 back in 2019.
I try to focus on my sell price rather than my buy price. Name of the game is buy low and sell high but in reality if we manage that then it was probably lucky.

Looks like the Balearics are going back to the amber list. Maybe in the next 2 weeks.
