I dont think the oil price will matter that much if oil price falls instead of having a pound party we can have a 70 pence party. I don't know about the rest of you but im happy with that

Its important to have a balanced portfolio . I have rental property and professionally managed investments.I also manage FTSE 100 shares myself. Personally I select High yield dividend shares for income with a bit of growth. But 88 is in a different league, its gambling on a grand scale our 2.2 million shares will be worth a million pounds at 45 to 46 pence or I could loose 55K if they go bust. If they go bust I will fine a bit poorer but my lifestyle will continue. if you can say the same sit back and relax enjoy the ride. If you have your shirt on this take 5 minutes to ask the question what if it does not work?

Brombard I accept what you say that there is time for share price movement but I dont see 17 million dollars of extra shares as a positive reason for it. Billions of barrels of oil are not worth Jack if you cant demonstrate that you can get to it and get it out of the ground cost effectively. But if/when DW tells us its a good flow rate then we will have a good price

It was only a couple of weeks ago that some of the leading thinkers here were shouting 3-4 p pence before opening. But when I said NO 17 million dollar sale of extra shares equals static price and that good share price equals good results,, for this I was looked at with surprise and amazement by people here Surprisingly we have a static share price a little lower....Let me think why Hmmmmmm...Oh yes people are waiting for good news which will in turn equal a good share price.

Nothing has changed and we have 17 million dollars worth of new shares some of which will soon be sold and you think 5c possibly next week... Why is that then?
