Did your mother not tell you shares can go down as well as up.

The Price has moved between 1p and 3p (up and down) on the basis of what is seen as favourable and none favourable information. thats how the stock market works. I think the favourable information is promising . But nobody is going to touch 88 with a barge pole until we have positively de-risked . If we are in that fortunate position then Suitcases full of millions of dollars will be coming our way and the share price will rocket on that basis. as far as im aware those are the facts. For me and I only speak for me, news about the weather, alaska goverment giving a tax refund and the well still being intact and not damaged are all periforal bits of information and nothing more I believe we have a good chance of de risking soon and with that a share price to match.

Just a thought l of course hope im wrong

Im hoping that announcement does not mean no damage equals low pressure. That really would put a dampner on things

11.19am 10 Million Buy �280K seems people are starting to take notice. It is a very personal decision but in my opinion selling before RNS makes absolutely no sense Unless you are desparate for crumbs when there may be a banquet on the table soon

Ben on what basis are you saying the conventional has been de-risked ?? so if we are sure there are billions of pounds worthof oil that we are sure we can get out ecconomically? then why is the price of 88 2.7 pence and going up one tenth of a penny a day?

I have really enjoyed the ride with 88 Ive been investing in 88 for about two years now, I like to hear the facts and opinions on here. They are all useful for helping me make an informed decision, but mostly I rely on the information coming out of 88 via DW. many of you talk of the open and honest approach of DW for me that is very important. Having said that all the research open and honest approach and all the other virtues of this venture are very helpful and informative. All the information points to a positive lucrative outcome, I am however concerned by the current fever pitch hype of the share price. Nothing has changed IW2, Farm outs and Yukon Gold have not been de-risked if they had we would be 10-20p by now. Bottom line is a favourable RNS from IW2 (hopefully) for me its important not to lose site of that . The current hype is just the pack jumping in at the last minute hoping for quick riches Personally im hanging on to the golden ticket until DW shakes hands with my Oily CEO

Brombard you missunderstand l am saying it is a high risk not an intolerable risk. The current price reflects that 2.5 pence a share and we are sat on billions of pounds worth of oil. Nobody is willing to pay 20 pence a share yet thats because it needs to be de risked first You are correct in saying we have more options but they to need to be de risked first. I believe in 88 but l look at the facts

I think the vast majority of the people here that are invested in 88 are aware of the risks involved if you believe you are not aware just ask the people here. On a risk of 1 to 10 where 1 is low risk 88 is a 10 very high risk.

My average is 2.65 I will soon be in profit lol Shall I sell everything at 3p and buy a few extra cans of Chicken soup?? I think not ride baby ride Hand and heels 88 right to the finish line

It is easy to run with the pack on this one, People are getting excited now the time is near, people are starting to jump on the band waggon, many people here said as much. It is important to remember that nothing has changed and the real value of the company will soon be determined by the IW2 flowrate, but fortunately we have a farm out and yukon Gold as back ups.
