LeMajor Several projects is indeed as you say several chances of success with only one needed
to give us some form of salvation. On the other hand Each project Will involve crossing Palms with Silver and
unfortunately Silver is somthing we have a very limited supply of in our very shallow pockets

Ive no longer any idea whats going on here, Lists of questions for DW, Consoling each other like your all at a funeral of a loved one that you all dearly miss. Talk of share consolidation is bleak indeed.

Debs I agree im a long term hold and in for the Divi, BT is a stalwart for institutional investors who keep BT as part of a Dividend Portfolio set of shares . Its a FTSE 100 company and unless somthing very serious happens it will stay a FTSE 100 company and many institutions will need to keep BT particulaly FTSE 100 Tracker funds and Yield Hungry funds, Unless we do a TESCO and seriously cook the books I think we will muddle through the Pensions Deposit, Regulation Misdemenours and any other Chicanary our directors have got us involved with. BT is a solid company with good core products and the newly purchased cash cow EE.

I suppose the good news is we have some money left to keep us going to have a look at the projects we have signed up for. I think we are in with a good chance again after the disappointment of lW2 as has already been said the RNS is bland but thats because there is currently nothing to say just updates. Game on

I am a long term holder like many people here. Things have recently not gone to plan and like many here Ive thrown my rattle out of the pram .
Ive thought long and hard about my relationship with 88.
I invested in 88 because I believe they have the potential to deliver the real deal to a major oil company
There is also an equal possibility that they may not be able to do this with constraints of both time and money.
But im calm now and im staying in for the long term

Guzzler1962 I lost about 60K in Tadpole Technology years ago it was a painful experience I invested far more than I could afford, I will not and have not made that mistake again but im around £25K down on thus venture but am well aware I could loose the lot. But im in long term because I believe there is a chance that something could be salvaged from this.

For the Experts and fountains of knowledge here who have already been in years and are staying in until the end please remember this is a chat site, People have a right to say what they think here Including the Nay Sayers the pessimists and all the other posters you see as undesireables.

Brombard - My wife and I have 2.4 million shares in 88 and you are correct that I am using emotive and negative language. I have around £55K to loose The Current value of my 88 shares are approx £26-27K so not doing to well at the moment. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I say what I see.
I see Bad news following Bad News , I see the share price going south on a daily basis.
The fact that there are billions of barrels of oil down there (nobody disputes that) means nothing if we cant get it out in such a way that it makes millions/billions for the big boys who we hope will buy us out at endgame

I do not dispute the fact that there is oil down there by the millions of barrels but we didnt get any of it so the word Duster is appropriate

Perception - IW2 was going to make this company...... Reality - Duster with lots of good information

Perception - Farm Out , Big Partner, Lucrative for 88..... Reality - Possibly a small struggling company like 88 will we get any money back? we certainly have little or nothing to put in

Perception - Dragon Oil Band of Brothers Digging together to make Millions from a new well... Reality - either many hands make light work or more likely to many cooks spoil the broth and we need a few million dollars to be part of the band of brothers

Perception - Yukon Gold the name suggests you will be a millionaire overnight ... Reality - a piece of land with oil underneath it somewhere, we have leased the land for a few years, were paying for 3D and hope someone buys in

I may have made some mistakes here in my assessment but I think most of you will agree I have the general idea

FDtoday.. Did I read right? 90% of your entire portfolio is in 88? if that is true then I am astounded and would seriously suggest you speak to people about Risk and the Stock market. As far as im concerned this is a small part of my portfolio
I see the share as absolute top of the range risk (please dont let anyone tell you different about the risk) This could make you a lot of money or you can easily loose everything. The nice knowledgeable people here will tell you more facts than you can shake a stick at they will cry DYOR and other such things. But ive also noticed when DW surprises the market with new info, The wise and the learned cry." WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW" and that im afraid is the paradox. It fine having lots of research and knowledge but none of it is worth jack if we run out of cash or end up with 10 Billion shares because we have to raise more cash. the pound party will soon be diluted to the 5 pence party

Aus3009... I agree with you if you look at Hargreaves Lansdown Broker reccomendations for months now they are all Buy or Hold ... The last sell reccomendation was in Feb 2018.. For me if the brokers are reccomending Buy or Hold that is a step in the right direction ... we are assuming the Brokers analyse the balance sheets with a fine tooth comb before stating their case..
