Kurt has no business glad handing Bernhardsson yet again. He should be in Stockholm.

Having listened to his telephone interview, I am more convinced he has, at least in his own mind, relinquished Kallak.
The Kosovo opportunity has used 25% of the company’s precious cash reserve on an exploration project which is still mapping the geography of the site. In other words, years behind where we are with Kallak.
Of course the Kosovans are making all the right noises about inward investment. The country was on it’s backside 20 years ago. If I hear the term pro mining, I feel physically sick.
All this investment does in burn cash for some distant and feint hope of a payback.
Just mentions adding shareholder value more than once. Since his arrival, M Cap has halved and zero progress on Kallak.
What price the next, and now more imminent placing! 2.5p would be my guess.

Without the exploitation license, Kurt has two choices. Go legal. Sell for a small premium. If this choice was put to shareholders, what would you choose?

As CEO, he clearly feels burning £250k in Kosovo is a better prospect than waiting indefinitely for the swedes to wake up. Tells it’s own story, surely. Kurt is not a fool.
Kallak is a blight on Bem. The sooner Kurt finds a swift resolution and moves on, the better. Although the swedes will not admit it, they will never allow Bem to mine Kallak. Just get rid to LKAB at a sensible price and move on.

Has Kurt's focus on and expectation of Kallak now all but evaporated? Either way, bem is clearly no longer relying on Sweden to prosper. Which would be foolish in the experience of the past 67 months. Maybe Kurt should now just put Kallak away for a while. The swedes clearly have.

I am appalled by the acceptance that the Sweden democrats be labelled as an “ anti-immigration “ party.
They are anti uncontrolled immigration, and quite rightly so. Any party in Sweden in 2018 should be anti uncontrolled immigration.
The demonising of this party thanks to pc nonsense is paralysing democracy. They got 18% of the vote. Accept it and start doing what politicians should be doing - serving the electorate and governing the country.ffs.

It is high time Kurt insisted on some face to face time with decision makers, not just bit players. Dialogue with these no marks doesn’t fool anyone. It is meaningless at this stage - a stage which shows no evidence of leading anywhere.
It is now 7 months since the government last pretended to engage in this process and absolutely nothing has occurred.

Which mps? What commitment did they give to push the decision through? I regularly express incredulity at what I hear, but I have neither the inclination or the authority to act on it. Nothing new. The application is in exactly the same mire.

Just returned. Berlin is a mightily impressive city. There is a real swagger about it. The evidence of investment in and the importance of all the arts is palpable.
Spoke with many Berliners, who were all kind, courteous, keen to engage, and even had outstanding banter, despite the german’s reputation. The most striking trait amongst the young employed in bars, restaurants and our hotel, is how
Intelligent and open they are. In this country, young people tend to be the surly, indifferent and unhelpful types.
They are interested in how the EU will function post Brexit, but there is none of the hand wringing and fear mongering we have here.
“ politicians live their lives and we live ours “ said one young guy in a bar, with a smile and a shrug. Wish there was more of that here.
Here’s something which may or may not surprise you.
Our 30 mile journeys from home to Manchester airport by train and back were both horrific.
The outward train got stuck at Stalybridge for 20 minutes only to be diverted to Manchester Victoria, where it terminated. 2 more trains were required to get us to the airport, one hour late. All 3 trains were dirty one only one had a functioning toilet.
The return was no better. The train from the airport was cancelled. Had to wait for a Cleethorpes train and once again change at Piccadilly. Trans pennine express train ( 3 coaches only ) packed, filthy, no toilet and intercom bust.
The two trips cost a total of £64.40 for the two of us.
In contrast, the train from Berlin Schonefeld airport took 35 minutes to cover the 30 miles in supreme, smooth, punctual comfort. On board communication, in German and English was superb, and the ticket cost £3 each way.
No wonder the EU look down their noses at us.
We had a better rail system here 50 years ago.
BTW, during the interval at the Procol Harum gig, the lads on the mixing desk played a selection of 60s English rock songs, but slipped in the 1966 official World Cup willy song. Good work. Apologies to younger readers.
