Why would you want Lofven back in charge. He has done nothing for Bem and, even if there were only one green sitting MP, he would continue in the same vein.

The determination to exclude the Sweden democrats from any potential governing coalition is a monstrous reversal of a proud democratic heritage in Sweden.
With 18% of the vote, clearly they have a significant and growing mandate.
The electorate is not stupid, and ignoring them will only strengthen and grow their support. You do not need to look beyond these shores to see what happens when politicians ignore and belittle their people. They bite back.

Refusing to make the decision eliminates the law’s influence.

Any CEO takes on the position knowing he will quite rightly be judged on figures, performance and share holder value.
Although Kurt is an honourable, inclusive professional miner, he has not fulfilled the role of CEO.

Who is saying what right now? No indication of any tangible progress from the Swedish visits.

Stockholm is where the decision makers are. Have shareholders been kept up to date on what these endless local meetings have contributed to any progress toward a decision?

Who has Kurt met in Stockholm who can move this forward? Who knows.

Kurt has taken it upon himself to handle PR personally, it would seem.
The company used to retain the services of a PR company, who were pretty much inactive during CSP’s tenure.
Personally, I would have liked to see Kurt seek support from his extensive and influential contacts within the mining world to put pressure on the swedes.
Don’t forget he did appoint the Swedish advisory board to add weight to the push for a decision. I have not heard a single report of any of their activities in almost 3 years.
Not good enough by a long way.
Sadly, there are no influential institutional shareholders with any clout.

If there is any dishonesty, it is coming from those who say they are having fun and excited by this thoroughly unacceptable situation. If you are convinced that everything is on track, I would ask you to produce your facts and evidence to prove your wishful thinking as to how and when the swedes will make the decision. What have I missed?

What chuffing difference does it make whether individuals post or not? The facts remain the same. ed44 has a strange obsession with censoring those who don't fall into line.with his views.

The swedes appear keen to show the world they are as dysfunctional as any soap opera family.
However, as far as Bem is concerned, this is all a side show, in my opinion.
There is nothing to stop the swedes deciding on the basis of law. Laws which won’t change no matter what coalition finally assumes power. That is how this long overdue decision should be made, and, we were told 3 years ago by the swedes that the law would decide it.
All lies.
Laws exist which should determine the fate of the Irish border post Brexit, but politics will be the decider, despite the good Friday agreements lofty rhetoric.
Politics follows the money and the law be damned.

Good post. Your stab at Manro was actually pretty funny.
I just abhor any form of censorship. Filtering people, especially with an accompanying post informing others of the filtering is alien to me. Just seems childish and head in the sand sort of attitude.
Manro and others with his view should be welcomed. The long termers who seriously believe Bem is a great investment are the ones to be wary of.

I would only buy in again if the concession is granted. However, I suspect Bem is already holed below the waterline and any concession would produce a very disappointing rise in the SP.

This investment should alarm you as much as the Kallak impasse.

Just like to point out that making cheap and not very funny jibes at manro makes you appear very very stupid. His view of bem is 100% accurate and real. The Kosovan mistake shows the depths to which the company has sunk. If this investment had been put to a shareholder vote, it would not have happened.

The swedes have kiboshed Bem good and proper, but, I’m sorry to say, Kurt is now proving to be ineffective, and, after yesterday’s investment in Kosovo, a liability.
If he can’t get the Kallak decision over the line by Christmas, it’s pretty much over...
