It has been a case of smoke and mirrors here for some time I'm afraid. The Bid being suppressed and a spread of 18.5% at one stage on little or no volume. On the 29th April there was little or no volume yet we had an after hours uncrossing Trade (U/T) of just 3 shares. What on earth was that about.

The raising of £1.07m via a subscription for 8.56m shares also raises questions as this equates to over 6% of the shares in issue - so why has there been no TR-1? 3% is the UK threshold for a TR-1 and 5% for overseas investors. Irrespective of any forward selling the institution should have issued a TR-1 as of the date of admission. There may well be an overhang to clear but I am far from happy with the lack of clarity. I suspect it may have been a broker but the only way to force the issue is to complain to the toothless regulator. Anybody else have any thoughts? Happy to be educated if it is me that has it wrong

Stevej - I agree. The current market cap is just under £23m. It could be deemed a "reasonable" market cap in the context of where Sareum currently stands but the potential upside for Sareum is significant to say the least. Even one deal will blow that out of the water let alone a buyout. But we mustn't get ahead of ourselves just yet as we are all well versed in negotiating bumps in the road, delays and lack of enthusiastic news. True value will out one day though and, unless there is a total Sareum collapse, we will all make a decent return for our time and money.

Great find guys - just shows what some of us have been saying all along isn’t that far-fetched. This deal demonstrates that it isn’t about the sp or the market cap: It is about the compounds and their potential. I wouldn’t be brave enough to put a potential value against Sareum but I do know it will be much more than £1per share.

I am away at the moment and 2hrs ahead of UK. Great RNS yesterday and sad to see some attempts at negative spin. Some good posts also though and I think the news will make potential partners/buyers sit up and take note. What on earth was that after hours U/T of 3 shares at 17.9p all about? Seems ridiculous as there was no volume or sp pressure at all - unless of course it has been put in to show all of todays trades in red. So much for market forces - if anyone can educate me I would be grateful

Only 7 trading days to beginning of May when, hopefully, we will receive news of the commencement of the Tox study. Confirmation would be a good step forward along with any other updates we could be due. Plenty to come and the recent void prior to the IM can be filled

20p back on the Ask - seems it wants to push up. Plenty of news to come in the next few weeks. 1801 looks really positive therefore 1802 should follow suit. 737 could also add value this year. I am encouraged by Dr Parkers comments and Tim's intervention at the IM that confirmed talks are ongoing. We are getting close to re-establishing some decent shareholder value and market cap.

Forgot to mention that H/L have also had an "Information flag" against Sareum for some time now which states that "This may not be the current price, but is the most recent we have available online"

This is highly unusual for Sareum and the spread is being maintained artificially IMO. The brakes are on which is a bit of a good thing for buyers and at least the spread will deter short term traders. If the recent trades are to be believed, there is a massive imbalance between buys/sells which leads me to conclude that there is "off-book" trading taking place. As ever, it is what it is and we just go with the flow. Normally the spread is very thin.
