@Laura - don't be shy of posting a positive narrative. Too many doom mongers on here so always good to see some positivity.

Morning Nav_Mike. Stephen Parker stated quite clearly that the peer review was very close and was also very clear about the strengths of 1801. I suspect his presentation has put Sareum back on investors radars. Long may it continue.

I thought it was very good - very clear and above all honest. I trust it will have eased some of the anxieties that were being expressed over recent weeks/months. Dr Parkers comments also indirectly addressed the "backhander" brigade by reminding us all that the BoD are fully aware of their responsibilties and will put any offers to the shareholders.

I was pleased to see that he did not rattle through a load of scientific detail and kept his comments clear, concise and expressed optimism in laymans terms. Flash to bang is always slow but I got the distinct impression that Sareum is progressing on all fronts and approaching a few milestone events. All in all a good presentation.

Thanks Leggster - The article in the link gives a very good overview by headed paragraphs of just what is involved. Easy to skim read if needs be. J&J panel recently stated 2year process from first meeting for them.

I can sense the frustration and the exasperation here in relation to the lack of comms and the lack of progress being reported. Personally, although frustrated, I cannot understand why a BoD full of professional and intelligent men would ignore the emailed clamour for more information. There must be a reason and I do not buy the constant assertions that we are all being milked and Sareum is going to hell in a handcart. It is worth considering the alternatives such as NDA etc:

The recent developments could well be at the behest of an interested party. My other point is that it is perfectly normal and acceptable for Sareum to "carry on as normal" in the absence of a firm commitment from any 3rd party. So why not engage with HNWI's, why not attend Bio. If a proposed deal fell through and Sareum BoD were cast adrift there would be hell to pay for the unnecessary delays with Directos being castigated for poor skills again.

Hi HBD - I was thinking that GSK spun off their R&D arm into a separate Limited Company and operates separate to GSK etc:

It's been like this for some while Nav_Mike. Someone is taking them. Anyway, apart from the obvious obfuscation it makes sense for any Company looking to do a deal to gradually buy shares in Sareum at these levels. It is a clean way of offsetting the cost of the deal. No TR-1's issued but subsidiary Companys can purchase. Just thinking out loud.

Definitely a bit of a conundrum HBD. There were other interested parties I believe. Somebody somewhere knows a lot more than they are letting on. Baffling for an oil like myself. Maybe SoG can enlighten us a bit further

why shouldn't laura post positivity? especially if what she/he stated was correct? we listen to surfie etc: and all the doom mongers on here would have us believe that parker is a dictatorial crook, the bod are all screwing us and taking back-handers. all nonsense and bullocks of course. as for "shareholders" most of us here are waiting for the big gamble to land and we are no better than gamblers betting on a horse with the bookie. except of course, the horse is still running and making whatever limited progress it can make. as soon as a milestone sp is reached some of you will be out of here like scalded cats. investors my ****!

I am confused as to why a long term holder and listener would be confused about Sareum and its progress. A very subtle deramp alongside a few chunky sells.

Nobody is “excited” - we are all frustrated at the lack of news when there could be so much more said. Whatever the situation Panagean you must have held for so long for a reason. You must also be aware of progress and of further impending news possibly and progress. Why are you confused? Anyway, thought I would ask the questions others might want to ask of you.
