Route to market24 Jan 2021 14:51
Hi all,
Great research as ever on here so thank you. It firmly identifies the potential of what lies ahead. I have already posted some commercial strategy options for consideration but I think that the role of the Non-Execs is crucial in getting us to the next levels and beyond. I know that they have been much maligned on this board in the past but their roles are pivotal as there is board experience, Industry experience and access to Industry contacts.
We need them on board to provide credibility to our overall strategy and intent. It is worth pointing out that NEDs are equally as liable as executive directors so they do not join Companies on a whim and believe in the potential as much as we all do
The other point I would raise is that somebody on here recently asked about Keyman Insurance etc: in the event of a catastrophic occurance. Again, the NEDs are vital as they can fill the breach on a temporary basis and provide details of potential replacement candidates if they were ever needed (God forbid). NED's will also know the whole business plan and the strategy going forwards as well as being subject to NDA constraints if, indeed, they are in place (which I think they are)
Apologies if this has already been stated or to those that already know this but I think it is worthwhile to add some balanced context regarding our eventual route to market and the role of the NEDs.
For the avoidance of any doubt I am not, and never have I ever been, a NED
