I didn't listen in but I am hugely encouraged by what has been reported here so thank you to the contributors one and all. It really doesn't matter a jot where the sp goes from here over the short term. We now have reaffirmation of the RNS forward looking statement/update and the signal really could not be any clearer. News is coming on a number of fronts and it sounds as if we have more than one blockbuster. The daily noise (negative and positive) will not affect the sp. This will be driven by news and we know it is coming. Stay focused until we get this over the line. Any fund raising will be put to good use and should help bolster the progress to date and also take us towards alleviating a lot of suffering Globally.
Hi Stach To hit £3.5bn it is roughly £1 per share so it is achievable if potential is realised. I totally agree that others will be required to take this to market as it would be impossible for Sareum to achieve this alone. The potential remains huge though. Consolidation may help bring much larger investors to the table or large funds but won’t do much for us small investors. It will be interesting to see whether there is any further news released before tomorrow’s meeting even if it is a placing! If not, I wouldn’t expect anything spine shattering to be revealed. This meeting will be far more closely monitored than previous meetings due to the growing excitement around progress. We can but hope
The sp drop is something we see all too often on AIM in order to bail out mms who are caught short. We have obliged. The inescapable fact is that “You cannot undiscover gold” (or copper) just bear that in mind when doubts creep in.
Morning Basser - good post. Personally I would prefer to see more development to increase our value before any takeover is considered. Everything has its price as they say and I don’t think it is a binary decision making process. RV84 makes a valid point but I think 15p is way to cheap given the potential here. I am sure that our NEDs will be able to advise behind the scenes. I would doubt our commercial ability to go all the way with this. Either way I am very optimistic of a positive outcome for all shareholders.
Great research as ever guys - just need the PR machine to go into overdrive and mention Sareum and Covid treatment in one headline, or a few headlines, and we will fly. Do it Tim, just do it!
It will be interesting to see whether a PR offensive kicks in from this weekend onwards now that a positive update has been released. It seems to me that there is a structured plan in place for development and, although success is not nailed on, I think there is a compelling case for major advancement of both sp and science in the coming weeks and certainly over the rest of this year. I do not think we will have a problem with funding of progress for much longer.
You can’t have it both ways Utah. You’ve been downbeat and negative for some time and now you profess to have expected more. I’m sure you’ll get over your disappointment.
Good solid day today and sp closing above 2p on a Friday pm. I think the Interims was Tim’s way of getting early info to us shareholders by way of a forward looking statement. Other than that a stand alone RNS couldn’t be released as there is nothing definitive that could be stated - yet. Great move IMO and the signal could not be clearer. What a great share to be in.
Agreed Potnak - great RNS hailing potential British success on St George’s Day. Timing is no coincidence in my view. We have success and a timeline. This is a steal under 5p.
I am happy to take a balanced view and wish I had a crystal ball. We all only ever bought into potential with Sareum all those years ago, so a bit of a high risk high reward share. Like most on here I would hate the thought of losing a lot of money but such is the binary nature of the outcomes we will either explode or implode. I have placed my bet and the wheel is spinning.
...being reported as sells. Really tight spreads recently and mm's doing what they are paid to do and that is to make a market, albeit a very thin one at that. Volume dropped off to a trickle. Not rocket science Utah. Wouldn't be surprised if some order filling going on also. Sp hardly moved at all.
As ever in these situations, the share is now oversold so a great buying opportunity if you can. Somebody will be loading up at these levels and will even try to force the sp down further to facilitate larger orders. What is not to like about simultaneous drilling campaigns and JV interest. This could turn again very quickly especially on a positive RNS
He did Jack (one of which already is). I think that he is demonstrating financial independence and a willingness to go it alone to any would be suitor. GH did exactly the same at GGP. Great negotiating tactic to show that we are not desperate for a 3rd party and won't give it away. I would expect any new partner to take on the drilling and associated costs once agreed.
