Morning Bobbler,
Yes I am of the opinion that we are through the trial and entering into a frenetic, but rewarding, period for Sareum. For the past 10 years or so it has been all about the science, research and presentations of science. Sareum is now entering a period of commercial reality and monetisation of our science.
Flash to bang needs to be exceptionally quick in commercial terms in order to meet Government timelines for a successful Covid treatment.
I suspect that, on the presumption that we have success on our hands, Sareum will need to address the following:
1. Manufacturing Partner agreement - Legal and commercial contracts.
2. Government liaison
3. Manufacturing timescales
4. Pre-orders/sales contracts
5. Production and Distribution
It would be fair to state that any larger pharma will take on the lions share of this work but it will cost. This will impact on any future royalties/revenue and will be reflected in any contract negotiations. So a clear Company strategy is required going forwards as to whether Sareum will push on and develop organically, or, it needs to be taken over by a large pharma for the science to flourish without constraint.
A really interesting time and the NEDs/BoD will certainly earn their corn.
Most, including myself, would prefer a takeover for the right price at the right time in our development cycle.
