Yes it looks a bit ominous Mafuta- with messrs Johnson and Han**** needing a short term good news story Sareum may have the answer.
Looking at the original grant RNS this was issued 03/12 and the application had been pending since October. I think it was Glenfidrich that was looking at end of trial dates. The trial could have completed or completion is imminent. Either way, unless something is released tomorrow, there appears to be no bad news at such a late stage.
All the indicators are good and with the Govt under pressure this could move very quickly. Political promotion of our science would light the blue touch paper IMO.

Try the JV's in the mining sector as a comparator. They are often dependent upon drilling results and flash to bang is very slow. Turning exploration/drilling into a successful mine takes several years and the senior partner holds all of the aces.

I think it is inconceivable that there is nothing going on with SRA737 in the background.
Two reasons:
1. Why renegotiate the deal - Sierra would have had to convince those involved it was worth doing
2. Total radio silence - not even a mention of "no progress" or "unable to progress due to..."

I have mentioned the impact of NDA's on here before so any combo arrangement would be subject to that until formal announcement. Throw Gilead into the mix and you begin to perceive how convoluted an on-licence agreement might become.

Just my own thoughts and happy to sideline this pending Covid data release and AGILE further funding which I am convinced is coming.

Interesting to hear everyones take on commercialisation and what sp they would accept. For clarity please see the following market caps/SP's. You can then decide on what you think we are worth and where the sp is likely to be. I am not being condescending at all, but Potnak mentioned one licence value the other day and it equated to 8p per share. So some of these SP figures being bandied about appear to be very low in my opinion and, in some cases, contradictory.
Taking 3271m shares issued as of today:
Current sp = £86.88m market cap
8p = £261.68m market cap
10p = £327.1m market cap
20p = £654.2m market cap
25p = £817.75m market cap
30p = £981.3m market cap.
So without me making any predictions whatsoever, I think individuals can see where reasonable target share prices might be against company value. Basic stuff I know, but it might add to the perspective of the debate.

Typically carp behaviour from mm's earlier. Interesting to note Andy, that they have been filling orders at 2.54p and around that sp area for some time now. It obviously suited somebodies agenda to drop this.

Yes suspension would be immediate before details of any bid is released. The BoD would make a recommendation on whether shareholders should accept or reject the offer. An EGM would be convened and a vote conducted on the offer. Admission to trading again after formal acceptance or rejection. Within the suspended period other offers could be made and shareholders updated accordingly.
If accepted, your broker may well write to you and make the agreed offer price and take them from you at that price..

Covid issue is far from over - initial trial completes this week with data release shortly after. Any bad news would be out by now. Stop scaremongering.

Regarding the tweaked compound it would be interesting if several individual tweaks could be done for different diseases. It would make a multi - licence strategy more attractive long term than a straight buy out.

SP has treaded water all day - nothing much doing. End of month blues maybe. Anyway, Friday may well be interesting as we enter the Bank Holiday on Monday and it is June on Tuesday. Could be that speculators will want in and, with a bit of FOMO kicking in - who knows.
I remain confident that all the recent signals point to success for Sareum and I dont think many would begrudge a cash raise to fund further development. Hasn't happened yet which is a bit unusual so may point to sp enhancing developments going on in the background. So I will be first to say it this week....I would not want to be out of this over the holiday weekend!
