They were not real offers an example of the format.
Although I would imagine that he has turned down offers in that order as the npv based on figures a fraction of the current spodumene price prove a higher current value.

Splatted, you are right it would.
We had four buyout offers all around 300m but declined these as we see the value much higher than this etc. We are down to four contenders.
Some CEOs would do that, without mentioning names just numbers turned down.

Two or three offers would have been great when we set off, now we have loads and nobody gets excited.

It is a shame Bernie did not give an estimate of how long it might take him to go through these offers, if it is a silly amount and could take months it would be helpful to know.

Wand, or almost complete buyout, those mining companies mentioned by Bernie will no doubt prefer to mine it themselves.
A virtual buyout with an ongoing percentage would mean a big cheque and likely large ongoing payments too if lithium remains a high price.
An early big pay day for us.
Nothing can be discounted.
With Bernie doing a very conservative NPV, the buyout figures may seem more attractive.

Tied up with too many offers is more likely.
The large mining companies, I would have thought will be virtual buy out offers.
As shareholders own the company not them, they will have to investigate, document and eliminate each one in turn before final selection.

George there is no competition, releasing shareholder value is key, not being first over any line, they cannot fulfill the lithium shortfall alone.
Positive from Prem for Kodal shareholders no dilution on a pilot. Such is the value of lithium.
We will just have to wait for Bernie to wade his way through all of these offers and see how his conservative pricing plays out in a deal.

Hello Ghoti, yes that no longer stands, they are open to do an offtake deal with anyone, hence all of the interest from mining companies etc.
Like we said the website is atrocious.
That was the problem with our neighbours they were tied into a deal based on lower spod prices - shareholders were upset - we are free agents at exactly the right time.
Suay Chin obviously want it, but see what deal they offer.

Crumbles/onlyking or someone got the decimal point in the wrong place for their dream payout before going on holiday.
Only to return and find it all in cash!

Rob - no wonder we get so many questions from new people which appear stupid.
I had a quick look through today and the original study 2019 is prominent as is a link to it, the new one is a sentence and an RNS!
Suay Chins deal which timed out is also high Viz, stupid really.
Old stuff should be foldered away and only what is relevant today should be on the main landing pages.
Also the basic overviews are no longer accurate as we have new tonnages etc.

Hope - Look at the whole market - very bleak.
My only negative comments with Kodal is the website is a disgrace, it needs updating and separating out from current to historic. You can't make head no tail of where we are on that site. We know what we know - but I don't think you could extract what we know (from the RNS combined with various interviews on the web) just from the site. If we can't then no way will a new investor - stuff from 2019 is seen first in some sections! We are way past those stages.
There needs to be some very basic podcasts on the site.
Hope - apart from that we are in a great position - just need some information on these possible deals, all in good time.

Ghoti, yes I was waiting for exactly the same. I am expecting a full report or similar with these factors covered?
As I said before maybe Kodal is swamped with offers, while options and competition is good, because he is operating on our behalf it could end up a time consuming pain as he documents and eliminates each poor one in turn. 10 meetings could be more than 10 weeks, big companies are slow.
I have not checked the website, but surely it will be covered in detail on there soon.

Yes, I remember at the placing, I assumed it had happened.
We are light on information at present, overwhelmed with offers is the only excuse.
At least the power substation is going in for the mine.
All good news but really we could do with more detail, I have not checked the website over the weekend, they may be going to update it.

MFuzz- you are right there. The spread does widen before an RNS, but usually a couple of percent more than that. But like you say it can anyhow for other reasons.

I see where you are coming from Daz. With the light info I thought this had been done.
