I see you are quite new and have looked at mining. These are real businesses in real places with staff etc all going through regulatory procedures .
Look at the time it takes for planning permission etc and the time to build a factory in the UK. Imagine searching ground for a metal or mineral first before going through all of that process.
You have to allow for reality in timescales.

The CEO is always over optimistic with his timescales. At the moment every service that supplies mining around that region, or in China too that supply services to that region are flat out busy, we had weeks delay last year with a laboratory which could not cope with the workload. China has this COVID problem, there is the war, the weather and so forth.
The timescale is not just for a group of people sat on their bums in a cosy office.
Based on my past experience of Bernie, I reckon over the next 4 weeks.
If there is a lot of competition over our contract, this could delay him too. Every delay we have so far has added loads of value, so the longer term holders aren't so stressed about time here, as they may be with another share .

Really Kodal will be the first mine based entirely on the new high lithium values, the other agreements were signed and binding initially before the lithium price hike, final completion afterwards - which appears to have confused the market.
If we get an amazing deal, ironically we may send PREM up too.
The lithium mining world will be looking at Kodal.
Personally I would like to see a take off deal with an interest free loan with slow payback time, where we keep 100%.

Merc and Daz, anything could happen, Lithium is so highly priced for large companies to pay the to true cost of a JV would be astronomic and a potential risk.
New ideas will be floated around, there must be new initiative when the cost is so high.
I reckon one of two things could happen, old school bite the bullet pay and buy in JV, or less risky exposure a low or interest free loan, either with a small sweetener or penalty payments if material is not purchased. The loan and penalty payments would be best for us, virtually no dilution and we keep 100%.
If it is a JV it will be a big cheque.

Re Daz - putting the work in. Hope so. We are used to seeing Bernie doing an interview with jet lag after a long haul flight and looking about as healthy as Joe Biden.
Last interview was completed without jet lag and he looked 20 years younger.

Guido, according to Bernie supply and demand gap is widening, not closing.

Guido, re Firefinch, you are correct which is why they had a mutiny on their hands.
The shareholders did not realise that the prices were set at the time the agreement was signed, when lithium was at a low price, because when the JV went through it was much later when lithium prices were higher and rising. They thought it should be based on the price at that point.
They were looking at the possibility of taking them to court and all sorts - but it would not have stood up.
We are fortunate all of our agreements timed out with covid and the coup.
We as yet have no agreement signed. So any agreement we have will be based on this year's prices.

It is not 50% given away. 50% JV means also they pay half the costs too.

It is stressful wait, especially when Bernie said they need to prove more material and that it is up in value by 100s of percent (from the original study).
Money is not an issue as they want the material from us.
Then the supply gap for Lithium is significant and growing.

Based on past experience of Bernie, he is always on the optimistic side, of course one day his optimism will be correct, but on past experience stupid little things create delays, the lab running beyond capacity, a piece of machinery delayed on arriving, a wet season which continues longer than anticipated and so on. He should add a few weeks to any of his timelines as shareholders prefer early news rather than late news.
