George, exactly when nameplate is declared, providing it is maintained that is only half of the calculation so their figures are still projected, however if they are higher than originally budgeted they reduce costs fractionally.

Still pleased we used AISC as they are the most inclusive costs in mining as you say.

Badomen, within that average could be a figure say 150,000 tonnes sold at the current price, it would be interesting to see that cost I agree.

It will be lower than the average AISC, we all understand that, but yes we don't know by how much.

I disagree on that one George. If 10% of that was allocated to capital expenditure as an example, that would be $200 dollars on 2,000 dollars per tonne, but only $85 dollars on a price of 850 dollars per tonne.

We don't know how many tonnes at what prices made up his average calculation.

We probably also could have done with knowing fixed prices per tonne, then maybe be could calculate it from there, but not easy.

The AISC will

Badomen, it is an average price with the AISC average too.

In that average we don't how it was calculated, amount per price and upper or lower figures to create that figure.

So using those figures you don't know the AISC at the current price (if using that average).

Its an average price and an average cost.

P119 yes, people don't give these guys credit for their brilliance at putting this together.

The first output range will be about in one of the RNS somewhere. I can't remember the range they were expecting for our material going through it.

It is an interesting subject. But geology, crystal formation and double and treble checking results and putting through different labs on occasions then matching it to the plant and set up has been amazing, this is the first DMS lithium plant in Mali, nobody to copy.

So I found the RNS, this is the uprated target tonnage based on the quality of the input material at Bougouni, so input is 1.2m tonnes per annum. That is the maximum input.

However output was raised

Importantly, Haiwang have provided a superior performance guarantee for the DMS plant based on exceeding the Company's throughput target and achieving concentrate grade above the Company's 5.5% target for the production of 125,000 - 130,000 tonnes per annum of spodumene. The Haiwang DMS plant throughput guarantee is based on achieving 4,848 tonnes per day of ore feed over a continuous seven-day period. This translates to an annualised throughput rate of 1.2 million tonnes per annum (after allowances for routine maintenance and downtime), which provides the Company with major potential production upside.

Ivroche they are inferring more tonnage than that.

Our ore is particularly good according to Bernard so we should hit big figures.

That is not possible on every site, if the impurities are high the plant has to run slower and or other modules put in to remove impurities.

Wash plants aren't that simple, we are lucky.

PS on the second plant we have the additional benefit of Ganfeng over the fence. If they are running smooth crystal veins through their flotation plant, Kodal have the benefit of seeing if they are hitting a viable output and may hear about any issues they could have had.

IE an ice cream machine, cup maker and so on. The inputs are controllable.

But mining is different. We are ultra lucky to have a CEO who is a geologist, so we have the geology team then overseen by an experienced geologist.

Bernard linking with Steve and the rest of the team have selected the correct plant to match the crystal formation, ratio of waste to Spodumene and has the correct modules for crushing and processing.

Really good and not straightforward.

The time double and treble checking samples is paying off big time.

Get that analysis wrong and it is really difficult, sometimes impossible to hit a viable commercial output.

No Badomen that is not correct.

Plant sold have output ranges. Not a set tonnage.

The maximum output from the standard plant is dependent on a number of factors but the main one is the quality of the material going in. Ratios, impurities etc.

They tweak the plant and get an optimum balance of maximum output which is sustainable with no breakage or undue wear.

Once they are sure of this output they declare nameplate.

This is important as this, rather than the previous estimated figures, gives a tonnage which is achievable in reality.

The reason people make so much of this is because this figure is the figure placed in more realistic figures and this impacts the AISC and bottom line.

That is why it is major.

Fortunately we have it confirmed it should exceed 120,000 tonnes, 10,000 tonnes per month.

Nameplate has not been declared yet, it could be higher per year, we don't know yet.

You mean the port paperwork etc that Bernard was on about, but that won't stop the ship steaming this way.
