Peace deal, Pre war share price levels and dividends might just bust you.

You have to let all the strands come together to get to the peace deal.

*Toughest Sanctions on any nation in decades which are and will turn the screw economically on the Russian economy.
*Toughest sanctions ever on Oligarchs and Putin allies. Property, yachts, monies frozen or seized.
*International condemnation on a global scale (UN HR expulsion still to come)
*Persona non grata - Over 200 diplomatic expulsions in 2 days including ambassadors and missions.
*Bordering on pariah state status.
*Ukranian resistance and military tactics.
*Western re-arming with conventional and also increasingly more potent and long range weaponry and defence systems.
*War crimes evidence being assimilated (and pretty damning).
*Ukraine having the ability to offer sanctions relief?

Last juncture - we were at all but 1 point in the negotiations agreed upon.

There are reports on hacking and cybercrime virtually daily and these are big companies whom you would have thought would know better.

But you miss two quite valid points.

*The MOEX is not subject to Russophobia. Western market are
*They have more visibility over what is actually going on as it is on their doorstep.

So yes it is perfectly valid to point out the valuation gap between the MOEX price and that of the LSE imho.

Berenberg cite that number based solely off the Khazakstan assets. Nothing attributed to Russian assets.

48% of 2021 revenue generating assets in Khazakstan says you can assess the downside risk as Poly's Khazakstan assets are outside Russia and not involved in the conflict full stop.

Berenberg put that value of the Poly Khazakstan assets at 300p yesterday based on those assets alone. Even at that I didn't agree with Berenberg's maths and think it nearer 480p off their own figures. Or you could argue 600p off a £12.00 share price where it was in the weeks prior to the invasion. Or £7.50 based on it being about half their very own February broker note)

That is with NIL, ZERO, ZILCH attributed for anything in Russia - which is selling all its gold at near normal atm. And is worth something.

Sniff of face to face peace talks and I suspect you will be adding £1.00 in a short space of time.

Yesterday a broker note citing 300p based solely on the value of the Khazakstan assets alone. 48% of revenue generating assets for 2021. Same company in February happy to reiterate buy notes on POLY at 1500p.

Pricing is detached from last trading update only a week or so back.

Was going to add to my ISA yesterday but couldn't and decided to wait. Just bought some and the plan is to add at staged points.

jezzahold I'm invested for the yield and tbh not too fussed if they pay a dividend this time. My aim is to add in stages so that in a year or two's time I am sat on 25%, or better dividends here that will enable me to circumvent any cost of living crisis.

I am invested in HMSO (Hammerson) from time to time and to retain cash they actually offer up an enhanced Scrip dividend which gets paid alternatively in shares. If there is a technicality in paying in cash here, this would be the way around it. You then get shares as opposed to cash, the company retains the cash and you can sell at your leisure if you wish when things improve.

Smaller fry Cybersecurty firm etc.
4.75p to 19.5p in a month.
Good First quarter trading update yesterday has doubled the share price in 2 day.

Between 310-313 they won’t allow even 2,500 shares

As someone else said, last time they had such limits it in place it then went bananas.

The ensuing international condemnation and fallout (more sanctions, expelled diplomats and ambassadors (persona non gratia) suspended from the UN Human Rights Council (tomorrow) and provision of more and longer range and advanced weaponry might just cushion their demands sufficiently enough now to get things over the line. That ultimately is what all these sanctions and other measures, in part or wholly, seek to achieve.
