We are getting good signs of this supposed special operation nearing an end and, or potential for peace emerging in the Russian rhetoric today. The very first time we have seen or heard that in 44 days.
Follow through on that at the weekend or in the next week and we should see the right type of our own Fireworks.
Nobody is under any illusions that there is still an ongoing war out there but such has been the ramping up of sanctions and international condemnation in recent days, but for me the most important points have been the Russian admissions that they are now recognising heavier losses and that the Ukranians are now getting armed up with longer range and more advanced weapons.
Now no distinction between defensive and offensive weapons is probably an inflection point for in terms of weaponry it equalises the fight. Both defensive and offensive weapons are defensive. Sad to say it but those heavier losses are only going to intensify. New conscripts will only become cannon fodder. Influx now of Tanks, heavy artillery, armoured vehicles, Kamikaze drones, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, S300 Air defense systems (the very latest) etc etc and whatever other unspecified items have been supplied by Individual countries. One can only wonder how many lives would have been saved if all this hardware had been delivered much earlier in the conflict.
