Wit the US accounting for 75% of our revenue generating capacity California and New York both moving to a position of NO capacity restrictions and 100% occupancy ahead of Fast and Furious 9 and Black Widow should boost our earning potential. Those two states adding to a multitude of other states and making us operating at near full capacity in the US.

Bring on the high grossing films. First up F9 in the UK and America on 24th / 25th June.

The list requires updating with todays two additions of California and New York but it gives you the general flavour.

Some fair points in there Ashstash and I'll give you your dues. Out of them all "it's the sp's fault for being what it is lol." is probably the one most pertinent. Any coincidence that the sp has gone completely contrary to virtually all optimistic things on FI's initial list, despite them continuing.

Maybe because I was absent from the bulletin boards and on several others for a while maybe I noticed it more than most when I came back. I am actually just trying to fathom out where the change occurred for if you run through that check list then they have virtually all continued on a progressive forward path. (now at about 99% reopened worldwide. capacity just going up to 100% in virtually all the USA, vaccine rollouts USA unabated, UK not far off 93% of Cohorts 1-9 double vaccinated, Box Office releases for the more major films (GvK, MK and Demon Slayer at the same time, Quiet Place 2, Cruella, the Conjuring at the same time, Peter Rabbit 2 UK, F9 in Asia + the Far East having all successively surpassed expectation etc etc.

The only thing that hasn't is the share price and we all have our own ideas on what's behind that. In fact you could have fair point to say that it's gone contrary to the news.

I just find the whole thing extremely bizarre if I were to be honest. Is it a dispirited reaction to the share price I don't know.

Shouldn't matter one bit in reality when the £, $ and € start to really start to multiply.

We are only talking about 2 months ago but there has been a definitely noticeable change in your posting style of late Fun Investor. There are lots like it. You been mugged and had your ID taken from you?

Regards what the share price "should" be.
It has been anything from 88.24 - 124.85p all in the most recent 15 trading days!
Nothing absolutely nothing of a strongly negative nature has come to light in that time.
The positive news has been continuing generally on track or maybe even ahead.
Re-openings confirmed and initial small number done so.
Box office so far (for the whole industry as don't have Cine specific) is probably ahead of target (Kong v Godzilla outperforming expectations).
Vaccine rollout on pace in UK and deaths per day now at what I think is around "acceptable" levels.
USA vaccine rollout just seems to gather momentum on a weekly basis and storming through them (was needed as infections and deaths been high there).
Cineworld liquidity confirmed as having a years worth for fully closed business.
On their plans/expectations opening to curreent schedule they expect this to be more than sufficient and also expect to stop making losses and move into profit from second half this year.
Jangho our biggest "outside" shareholder have been happy to keep their holdings at high levels and now highest they have ever been I believe.
GS and MS have either been sacked by Jangho gathering stock for them (replaced by BoA), or they don't fancy day trading it anymore (whichever they were upto).
Studios have overwhelmingly stuck with the cinematic release (be that tailored to current circumstances and going forward possibly slightly different to what was before). Shorter exclusivity windows (makes sense for all I think as after c. a month the real big bang for buck drops off). Shorter window quicker turnaround for new product off which there is no shortage of supply.
Tomorrow, next week, next month, next year we can't say for sure.

Only 1% !! of NHS bed capacity being taken up by Covid capacity is hardly indicative that our NHS could be overcome at any point. I am sure you are probably thinking the same.

We need to be a bit more bold and balanced in our approach here in the UK and stop being ultra cautious and retreating into a burrow everytime the figures rise marginally. Our figures have been rising off incredibly low numbers, in fact unbelievably low numbers, and at Stage 3 lockdown Infections were expected to rise.

Totally agree with jabbing more and more but if numbers like this keep popping up then it won't be long before the Press and other MP's start properly grilling ministers and scientists and pushing for an unlock at the 2 week review stage.

This share price now imho is being called completely wrong at 86p / 87p.

Time to chill and let the $, £ and € speak for themselves and for people to then realise it.

We have actually gone 100% in a lot of states.

People can play with the share price all day long but we should be just be about to make some very good money over the next 6 weeks, on top of regular monthly Unlimited memberships, concession sales and on screen advertising.

National Lottery Cinema Weekend has just gone live for this weekend.

200,000 "Free" cinema tickets up for grabs (Minus 2 of course)

Hopefully we can get a good chunk of the tickets through CINE with concession purchases to give the company a profitable angle.

Anyone on the likes of HotUKdeals might like to copy it across after today once CINE holders have got first dibs.

Easiest way to do it is to book the cinema you want off the drop down. They all show 11p.m. That's not the screening time but just a door opener to get your codes for any screening over this weekend. You then use the codes to book the tickets on the website. No booking fee either.

You need the 4 or 5 digit code off the top of any lottery ticket or scratchcard that you've had since January this year.

Overall I think the briefing will be received positively by markets in the morning because of:
*the 2 week mid point review,
*concessions made re further slight unlockings,
*the use of the word "Terminal" for an end date and it given 21 July
* the expansion of jabs to younger age groups and the net effect of more and more immunity being built up.

For CINE we carry on exactly as we were doing and tomorrow we gain the bonus of 81 of our cinemas in California going to 100% capacity. That's to add to our Florida cinemas and also I believe in Philadelphia which did so last month. Same previous impact assessment applies.

My 50p review target is starting to come within sight.

We seem to be heading well on the path to recovery now.

Watched it and my thoughts are this.

* Any surprises contained within were actually Positive Surprises
*The likes of Sir Graham Brady's article and the reaction of business leaders and press stories re postponing weddings for the 3rd time has led to a compromise. For instance weddings with over 30 can now go ahead provided social distancing. Same for wakes. Pilot events continuing.
* Biggest real positive for SirGB and other business leaders (like Andrew Lloyd Webber) is a Review at the 2 week point. (I happen to think the full decision has been made with a bias given to a mini-spike in the last 3 or 4 days. when Infections seem to be plateauing, Deaths at only 3, and hospitalisations data is being sat upon since 8/6.)

*PM Confident on that being the lifting date (caveat emptor).

Should be an exceptional next month at the Box Office for ticket sales and popcorn and concession sales and we are at near 99% capacity of our cinemas having reopened reopened.

Suggest you research the Box Office money that both franchises have brought in.

Wadz, not many selling now other than traders trying to get a cheaper re-entry price. Extension it is and the leaks have let everybody know.

Forwards we got to F9 and Black Widow and we carry on exactly as we were and with slight improvements in capacities and cinemas opened as the week goes on.

EMAN the share price is marginally up and whereas we have moved from 123p to 86p they have hardly budged from a tight range.

Impact assessment for any extension in any case.

Cineworld UK (+ Ireland) - We continue to operate as we are doing presently with up to 50% capacity in our many screen multiplexes and with concessions sales of food and drink. Slight boost to the estate next week as Irish cinemas reopen on 18th June

USA - stays exactly as it is. 15th June (Tuesday - just noticed previous error) 81 Regal cinemas increase to 100% capacity

RoW - stays exactly as it is. Czech Republic having just reopend its doors, Israel could have had another record breaking weekend and Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia all continue as they are.

(Revenue Split should you wish it is USA - 73%, RoW - 12%, UK (and Ireland)-15%
