Just got back from seeing No Time To Die in IMAX with my family grouping.

Terrific film, compelling gripping and endearing from start to finish. A lot of bang for your buck.

Took two seniors with us who haven't stopped raving about it since and they were not by far the oldest there. Terrific to see such a turnout and the diversity of it.

Deserves every one of its 4 and 5 star reviews.

There was a mirror image of the aisle and LHS wing on the RHS and the middle section had 25 to each row. One massive cinema hence why you couldn't get it all in one screenshot.

Take a look at Cineworld Leicester Square IMAX for 7.20p.m. if your quick. Absolute Monster of a cinema and nearly full. Just under 600 seats taken. Normal adult price. £25 per head.

Just been looking at Sheffield tonight and around that 7p.m most popular evening showing time.

VIP sold out on two showings, 4DX also on one, IMAX is brimming and near tipping point for the 7:20p.m. Must be about 250 to 300 (Jeez) and the 2D showings are also looking very full.

Still got the walk ins to come.

But let me reply just this one last time. If a movie opens on a Monday or it opens on a Thursday it is makes absolutely no difference. They are both through the week days. It is not the weekend when most people are off and have leisure time.

My bet Tommy is for it to beat Spectre. That is what I am referring to in my post and continuing the SkyBet thread from yesterday. It is on a 3 day basis from 00:01 today to 23:59 on Sunday - as per Box office Mojo figures and to beat £20.1M. Respect though, that whereas SkyBet are only going on a 3 day opening weekend that doesn't include the actual opening night on Thursday so it will in effect be a 4 day opening.

More than all of this, Bond is about planting Cinema back on the Map. Its a BIG film and will draw audiences for the next month and beyond wherever it plays. My scouts at last nights screening say 90% full in a big city screen and a really good film (12 students across 2 student flats) Two other family members who deliberately chose a smaller quiet screen say "I won't be disappointed" and state 60% full.

On numbers I see the debate. It's hard to predict UK numbers because the likes of Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline are all American based and are trying to report UK sales in the US. You don't get UK tallies by the day on Box Office Mojo which again is UK based. So they predict. HWR at the moment have done nothing more than make a prediction. No doubt we'll get to hear something next week and I suspect a few updates off those attending in between at the weekend.

Pointless looking at online booking as it doesn't reflect walk ins, of which there will be many at the weekend. If I was going to look it would be at the 7.20p.m. Imax bookings as thats a key time for evening bookings and it brings in good money. Try Big venues like York, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Leicester Square.

Nice con job this morning by the marketeers btw on China woes. Most stocks now recovering and Easyjet and TUI, both in our illustrious travel and leisure sector, now up over 4% each.

Its into Q4 now and some great films, kicking off Bond. I posted the link the other day and listed them. Cash flow is now flowing and imho now in abundance and should be to year end and beyond. The share price will need to catch up to reflect that. It bears no resemblance to other inside space sellers like Hollywood Bowl, Ten Entertainment, the Gym Group, the likes of Fulham Shore who own the Franco Manca pizza chain, pub groups etc. Many more.

Packing up early for the week as its been a good week and it seems to be remaining strong.

Off out to watch the new James Bond at the weekend and to pay my respects to Daniel Craig in his last outing as 007. Hottest tickets in town.

Easyjet and TUI turning blue or hovering just under despite all the latest market excuse.

The problem with this share price sits with the market makers just trying to churn the same shares over and over again. Part credit given for progress, many times it gets delayed, then it gets taken away again, then given back again.

Back to pre-pandemic 2019 numbers it should climb a lot higher.

Not here to do the market makers work for them.

Bond fyi won't just be selling tickets this weekend it will continue with strong sales for 4 to 6 weeks and in the US from next week.

If you don't understand what you have invested in can you just pass your shares over to the market makers. They'll love you for it.

Leicester Square looked extremely busy on GMB. On a weekday night with people probably having work the next day. 2 flew in from Canada to see the film, People still in tuxedos and one woman saying they had been for a meal and the husband bought tickets, first time they had been to the cinema for 2 years.

The bigger picture here is yes firstly good James Bond Box Office (and its looking very good), but moreover revenues back to and surpassing pre-pandemic levels and re-engaging those who have not been to the cinema for some time.

Sterling efforts on that front being made by most chains with special events and promotions. Great Q4 films ahead to further re-engage. Next Marvel instalment opening today in the US for our Regal cinemas (68% of our revenue) and next week it's Bond in the USD and a further opportunity to re-engage previous customers.

We will now be surpassing pre-pandemic attendance revenues and that will hopefully continue till year end and beyond.

From now on in the share price you would expect to catch up further and bridge the gap, probably gulf is a better word, and back to where it was pre-pandemic. If not it gets taken over, or it relists or part relists in the US as they have indicated.

Hopefully next week we get some proper numbers and hopefully some market commentary.

Its the once a month hit to share prices that is used to generate liquidity. Different reason every time and a couple of days later it's completely forgotten and share prices return.

We have no cinemas in China and it is of nil direct relevance to Cineworld.

For anyone interested the cinema I follow completely sold out on all shows from Thursday to Sunday, all on pre-bookings alone, and it has sold out on all evening performances through to next weekend. I make that 41 showings thus far and it is only going to rise with the remainder are also filling up.

Rather than get distracted by market shenanigans simply book your tickets for No Time To Die (or any other film) if you haven't already and support your local cinemas. Treat yourself also to some popcorn or drinks if you can afford them. Q4 should be a bumper quarter.

It'll be MS making their own luck again that plus market algorythms following wider market sentiment.

Sub 32p always seems to be bargain territory and giving you a 6% scrip dividend return for 1/2 of the year. Like I say, beat that in a bank account.

Pubs, restaurants and the cinemas within the venues are all getting back quickly to pre-pandemic levels and if it is like HMSO's Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow there are many of them all feeding into a Cineworld.

Happy for it to bob up and down till next news and I think most people this weekend will be concentrating on getting seats for the new James Bond film.
