RE: Court case8 Oct 2021 11:27
Good Morning small trader,
I think if everyone hasn't realised by now that everything Cineworld did in respect of this deal was on the instruction of a very astute firm of barristers then that should be your focus. (Disclosure of documents, defence strategy and calling of witnesses, Handling of the ICA process).
I watched yesterday and the day before and the Cineplex counsel has got very little to go on other than clutching at straws. Upon which he is got closed doors from Mooky and firm interjection from McCarthy Tetraut. That is why he is getting would up and irate and imho becoming unprofessional.
On the balance of the evidence thus far and with the AB Stable case in mind I'm very positive on the outcome. As stated previously it should be about December for a written ruling giving the judge time to sit down and consider all the documentary evidence, testimony and case law and for her to write judgement. I popped up the AB Stable ruling the other day which is 243 pages long and highly detailed.
In the meantime we get on with racking up revenues in our tills having entered our best quarter and with the record monies coming in from the Bond Movie and Venom overlapping and what is very strong film slate till year end. Dune, Marvel's Eternals, Spiderman No Way Home, Matrix 4, Ghostbusters sequel , Spielbergs Westside Story, The Kingsman and you back it up with a plethora of good supplementary films like Halloween Kills, Adams Family 2, The French Despatch, Last Night in Soho, Boss Baby 2 (UK), House of Gucci etc.
Most importantly you need to factor in that most of the above films will have overlapping cumulative audiences of between 30 and 45 days. Some play longer if they are still appealing to the public.
Skip over the trolls, disruptors and new posters and focus solely on your investments.
