As stated earlier here is a quick resume of ticket price increases amongst some of the main cinemas. if you use a smaller regional chain or Independent cinema then you will know your own ticket price increases and can probably add.
AMC – prices up 15% since 2019
Odeon – prices up 6%
"Compared to the second quarter of 2019, the domestic average ticket price was up more than 15%, and food and beverage revenue per patron was up nearly 42% to a very impressive $7.91. And this compares to $5.58 during the same quarter of 2019. Similarly, the international average ticket price was up 6%, and food and beverage revenue per patron was up nearly 33% compared to the second quarter of 2019." Cineworld –. Circa 8% increase on Premium screen price increases (IMAX, ScreenX, 4DX). Comparison of own prices paid.
Hard to quantify 2D ticket price rises due to Variable pricing on some peak showings but it does look like a modest rise of circa £0.25 upwards comparing student prices paid and on a non-peak showing.
Everyman – 5% rise
“• Average ticket price has increased by 5% due to ticket type mix and modest inflation-related increases” From their H1 results just issued last week (23/9)
