The subject of money relating to this dispute has been well talked over today.

But i would like to Ask about the légal procedures going on.
Today ncyt told us a claim has been issued.
What is this legal form . Is a claim issued in court or where ?

How much Time has ncyt to answer to that claim ? Say ok im wrong i pay or to defend themselves.

What are the possible next steps ?

I dont know either why it didnt worked out in the end with immunexpress, but it will be better if they can develop one by themselves. IP, margin, all that.

Wbac, i don't think all should be dissmissed. GM surely did some great things At his Time, and surely he didnt targeted only New tests that would not make money.
And from what i Saw, ncyt still is interested in sepsis.
Do they work on a test ? Not sure, but high probable imo.

Sepsis has 100-150k cases per yer.
30-40k deaths per year.
That's for UK only.

From my ten min research on it this am, it doesnt seem to exists tons of tests for it. Pcr At least.
For non pcr tests, they Can take a while. Culture etc...
Correct me if wrong.

So it is again, imo, probable that developping such a test could be interesting.
And even more as sepsis seem to be a topic for UKHSA.

I found a tiny Clue yesterday - it could be nothing At all - that we might be working on a sepsis test.

And i dont speak about the agreement ncyt had with immunexpress that apparently didnt worked out as immunexpress released its sepsis test, with the help of another company.

I think internaly developped.

While looking for the name of this former partner i forgot, i found other clues coming from ncyt directly. The 06.2021 Doc "accelerating our strategy for long term value".

Extracts : "Novacyt will support the shift
towards decentralised testing through the
development of high-utility tests in areas
like infection control, sepsis differentiation,
meningitis and neonatal differentiation."

It's mentionned 3 Times.

So my question is : would it be interesting for the company to develop such a test ? Is it useful ? ...would it make money... ?

Maybe poidster, if you read, could we get your view on that ? Or of course any other poster with some insight on sepsis ?
