NorEscO your powerful insight is very much appreciated. I've had a chance to reflect and I've decided I like your style. I'm going to try to emulate your approach to investing, and life more generally.
Given this "massive failure," what course of action would you suggest for Team NorEscO/Lantier here?
Flat and whining? Is that the £££ maker here?
I'm guessing WHI will tell you it isn't material. Less than £200k consideration and the MCAP of the acquirer is sub £1m.
Completely agree SH. Yours is a considered post and I think you're right. This is absolutely the wrong time for an acquisition. The only caveat to that would be that ARCM have managed to create some sort of "unmissable" angle and simply have to have the asset in question. But, like you, I remain to be convinced. The opportunity for shareholders here is the Anglo JV. Conserving cash to avoid dilution ahead of that JV's potential fruition should now be the priority.
The geological charts that Seis has the good grace to provide are the underpinning of the trade here and are entirely factual, as you well know TNR. Facts that clearly have you worried.
And yes you've got one thing right - as a "serious" investor I've no interest in writing you a call option.
Have fun with your short. Squeaky bum time?
TNR you are quite right the only thing that matter is the share price.
But where you are wrong (and you know it) is that the main driver of the share price, the reason everyone is here, will be the mineralisation contained within the license areas.
There's a further detail you seem to have forgotten in your zeal for ARCM bashing. It's not where the share price IS that matters, but where the share price WILL BE. If a share is fully valued, it only represents potential downside. The opposite is true of a share that has been beaten down in price, for example ARCM. Your constant whining about the share price is the equivalent of advocating the merits of a buy high, sell low strategy.
It's obvious to anyone here that Seis adds value. It's also obvious that you add no value whatsoever.
Travelcard is not involved and yet he has a view on value. He wouldn't buy the shares post the placing even though the company is now fully funded and the share price is much lower than it was before the period leading up to the placing, and the placing itself. You have an interesting take on the principles of corporate finance, that's for sure.
Since Seis is wasting his time focusing on what's in the ground, let's see your workings around the EV. Or maybe you're too busy not being involved here?
You're ranting again Donkey, though asking your adult literacy teacher to focus on the apostrophe this morning seems to have helped. Not long 'til you'll be off the picture books - though I'm not sure the same can be said about the meds.
Peggy I'd ignore the negative drivel from people who are not invested and have some sort of personal axe to grind.
What have I been doing? I've been buying.
What have you been doing Peggy, and how do you propose to benefit?
Embarrassed?
Do keep us all posted on everyone's feelings. And don't ignore your own feelings - please share.
Donkey is all about the emotional side of things too, so he can help once he's back from his adult literacy class.
Might want to check your use of the apostrophe there Donkey. Literacy and credibility do go hand in hand, more's the pity for you.
Once the keyboard's been fixed maybe check the meds too? My sense from your general demeanour would be more beta blockers and/or valium but I'm not a medical expert.
Check in again once you've had a few more pints and a chance to come up with some fresh pearls...
