They've spent the last 3 years divesting all the crap. Mission accomplished.
The Botswana assets mitigate both the counterparty and project risk ARCM shareholders have in Zambia.
Management have not been paying themselves at all, let alone in shares.
Major Misunderstanding might be a better nom de plume...
The existence of a matched bargain system is irrelevant except that it compounds the illiquidity of AIM stocks and adds to the volatility you seem to get so excited about.
MMs still need to balance their book every day to avoid overnight risk.
Anyone who needs convincing of the irrelevance of the font colour simply needs look at the time stamps and the prices on each of those trades.
TNR - just because a print is blue doesn't mean it was a "buy" and just because it's red doesn't mean it was a "sell." Generally there is a sell for every buy and a buy for every sell as MMs do not want to go home long or short, with corresponding overnight risk. Maybe take a look at the time stamps and the prices to reassure yourself. And pause for thought next time before (again) demonstrating your inexperience.
"Wow Pegs!
Imagine how much fullofBS will be down on paper with his 3million shares ? But I suppose if you can afford to lose £1600 at a session in a casino then that is like losing mere coppers from your pocket (no pun at all intended)."
What a pair of small-time railbirds you are...
Valueseeker it will trade where it trades. The day to day SP is irrelevant - merely a reflection of (minimal) retail money flows. This stock is illiquid and illiquid securities trade by appointment until someone decides to challenge the price, which is very easy with this name. If you're a buyer you should want the SP to decline so that you can buy more, so Mr 6.75mm did us a favour. All that matters is here is the outlook and whether you own enough shares.
"It wouldn't take more than 1% of the MCAP to move the price by over 15%. Get a grip, muppets."
When did this last trade more than £300K in a day. err.... like never!
Get a grip clown."
That's exactly my point, Travelcard. English comprehension clearly not your forte.
Pretty funny how the trolls here are getting their panties in a froth over daily trading volumes of the order of a few thousand quid. I guess that's a lot of money to them. But completely irrelevant small beer to anyone with any clue and without an axe to grind. It wouldn't take more than 1% of the MCAP to move the price by over 15%. Get a grip, muppets.
Lots of noise here from people with time on their hands and axes to grind. ARCM is a bet on whether AAL will discover decent copper mineralisation in Zambia, end of story. They either will or they won't, but an objective assessment supports a positive view, which is why AAL committed to the JV. The shares will not re-rate until there is positive data from the drilling programme but when/if they do, that re-rating will be violent. In the meantime, expect the SP to get pushed around on minimal volume.
The exercise of warrants results in cash proceeds to the company and new shares in issue. There is no reason, all other things being equal, to expect that to cause any form of drag, significant or otherwise, on the share price. The conversion of warrants is not a sale of shares - it is, in fact, the discounted purchase of shares.
The stock is dropping because there are more sellers than buyers. The effect is amplified in a relatively illiquid, retail stock where there is very little institutional money involved. In the absence of news, people will default to pessimism. An optimistic stance requires fuel in the form of news. So, you have relatively small, relatively uninformed investors who decide they want to sell. For the price not to drop, you need other investors who are willing to take up the slack. If a buyer thinks he will be able to buy cheaper tomorrow, he will not buy today. So that creates a liquidity premium. You want liquidity? Be prepared to pay.
Those asking "what's going on" are either your typical clueless small investor, or they have an agenda.
If the price drives you in this game, you will either get lucky or lose money. You have to decide the price. Lead or be led.
Ella - what's your issue with Kopore having a carry? That's how these deals are usually structured.
And why don't you also acknowledge that Arc have a call option over that 25%?
Do you really think anyone is stupid enough to be influenced by your drivel? Or is this nonsense from you just some form of weird catharsis?
Looking on Companies House this seems to be a one man band. The sole director is a guy called Jagjit Singh, who would appear to live in a bungalow in the fair city of Nuneaton.
Total net assets of J Robbins Capital Partners Limited, as of 30/06/20, according to accounts filed in June of this year, were - wait for it - 35 pounds. That's thirty-five pounds and zero pence.
