It's an opportunistic opening salvo from BHP but it does illustrate that copper is front and centre for the majors right now.
Expect lots of noise, all positive for ARCM. It's reasonable to assume that all the majors will be debating whether to enter the fray for Anglo and it's just as likely that all of them are taking another look at all of Anglo's exploration JVs, including a certain Zambian venture looking for oh - yes - copper...
You are motivated, for whatever reason, to talk this stock down, appearing like a bad penny together with your mates to bash the company, its prospects and its management whenever the SP seems to be getting some traction. You state that you are neither long nor short, which begs the question wtf are you doing here. Your answers to that question have been consistently lacking in any credibility.
As we enter the drilling season your posts are becoming ever more frantic, and transparent. What I particularly like about your and Noresco's posts is that they seem mainly borne of spite, focusing as they do on the central argument that SP performance has, so far, been poor. You have so little self-awareness that you don't realise your "argument" supports purchase rather than sale of the stock.
So, as I say, keep em coming Donkey.
It's factually completely correct. Cancellation of shares is accretive and that's exactly what was said.
Also, you might have had slightly more than zero credibility if you were able to spell breathtaking.
Whoever's employing you needs to ask for a refund.
