The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
A1EX - Rule 40 says "An AIM company, while suspended, must continue to comply with these rules."
fizz, good point.
The tweet picture doesn't say that the licence is to EUA.
The AIM rules say that information should still be disclosed when a share is suspended.
If the TIPIL licence is for EUA, surely it needs to be in an RNS? The news should be announced immediately according to AIM rules.
The flanks licence may be delayed due to the CV lockdown causing a backlog.
xel123 I hope you're right about this share..
Rally on Tuesday then?
CityT, why is a delisting from AIM being thought about?
Anders, I hope you're correct!
Andre, when is the funding likely to be confirmed?
I have now got the latest standard email.
The new nomad appointment appears to still need lots of work!
When will the value of the contract be announced?
Are there other contracts in the pipeline?
ShareAnorak, thanks for that.
I hope the directors get a new nomad by the deadline. They could just decide to not appoint a nomad because they do not want to resume trading? The assets can still be sold by a delisted company.
ShareAnorak, it's good that you're confident that we'll hear positive news.
Is EUA allowed to hide behind a nomad appointment to remain suspended, and why not just remain suspended because of the lack of clarity in their relationship with CITIC?
Torham, thanks for the reply. You haven't explained your earlier comment that I asked about.
A sale of assets does not need to involve a suspension, so it seems incorrect to say that a suspension was always going to happen. Surely a suspension to protect a share price by preventing a sell off is not allowed?
Matt, to give EUA the benefit of the doubt it is possible that they have an NDA with CITIC due to their negotiations to sell assets.
Peng, when I spoke with Keith Byrne at EUA a few weeks ago I did ask him about the suspension reason. He told me that the reason hadn't changed because the RNS dated 9 April did not clarify the CITIC relationship enough, and he also said that the Nomad resignation was a separate matter. Clearly EUA need a new Nomad and clarification of the CITIC relationship before suspension is lifted. I hope this helps!
Torham, why do you say this - "I get that some are in financial difficulty and desperately need to cash out (which is one possible reason I think why the BOD may be letting the suspension run as long as possible)". Surely the directors wouldn't let the suspension run as long as possible for this reason?
daviddune, sorry the message was for LT.
daviddune, have you been phoning or emailing EUA? I haven't had a reply to my email on 17 May..
