That is correct Tele.
The sp for AGS seems to have closed up 61.1%. https://www.asx.com.au/asx/share-price-research/company/AGS
Charlie, is that an Australian listed company?
I agree with 09.47 Spikeyj. There is no option for an extension of the nomad deadline!
The placing holders won't be happy if there is a poor RNS! It does seem like a mates rates placing as imac1 says.
EIE how can you be 100% confident that EUA will resume trading before the deadline?
Can this be trusted more than the post by TOBD?
Moneymaker2015, why would we re-enter the market at the suspension price? That seems unlikely.
It is possible that there is a deal to sell MT. That would allow the BoD to announce the CITIC relationship.
There may still remain an issue with a director (?) and maybe the Nomad fee as obstacles to getting a new Nomad.

I think that TDT has the best analysis of the sp rise. There were some other factors, including the PGM rise, as you mention. However, I feel that these factors were insufficient to account for the massive increase in sp.
The link to the one year chart TDT has provided shows that the Oct RNS and ACF report had a dramatic effect on the sp. The Hammond tweet was just before the suspension and didn't have a big effect. The link is - https://www.dropbox.com/s/onvi2thk85x5bbw/1%20Year%20Chart.png?dl=0
Personal abuse is far too frequent on this bb!!

You're correct about the spikes in the sp, and the suspension reason imho.
If there is no deal to sell MT, the company can still start mining with the SinoSteel contract. Maybe that is the best outcome now? The sp will drop if there is no sale, but a resumption of trading will allow investors to get out with some money or hold for better times. I hope the BoD appoint the new Nomad quickly.

BoB, thanks for matching the £5 donation win or lose.
TDT, you seem to be suggesting that the company has been exaggerating the importance of talks with CITIC and other possible buyers. The sp shot up due to the interview with DS, AFC report and finally the Hammond tweet. The Nomad may have then asked for suspension until the truth or otherwise of the tweet was confirmed. I think that the directors have been working hard to turn the Hammond tweet into reality since suspension. They don't want to say that there isn't a relationship with CITIC, although that could be correct. They also want to encourage Norilsk to make a reasonably high offer for MT.
I think the failure to clarify the CITIC relationship after two months could have been the last straw for WHI. I think you're probably correct about the two conditions for a new Nomad to accept the role. What now happens if the BoD say to the prospective Nomad that they won't agree to their requests for a director resignation (i.e. DS resignation) and a clarification of the CITIC relationship? That is a worry for investors.
Ereddy I live in Fylde. I'm quite near you.
TDT good post.
I do not understand why the suspension is still in place. Perhaps there is a wish to make Norilsk think that CITIC are bidding for MT? It seems that Norilsk are the favourite to buy MT. It seems unlikely that the new Nomad has not finished due diligence by now. The delay in appointing the new Nomad may be due to a disagreement about fees and/or some matter arising from the due diligence. The company won't need to raise funds by placings if the sale happens, and therefore will not really need to be listed.
BoB, if and when the new Nomad appointment RNS arrives I'll be very happy to admit that I was wrong, and also to donate £5 to a charity that you suggest.
BoB deal.
I am happy to have trading back without a deal, especially if a deal is still being negotiated. Obviously 'coming back' with a deal would be better for the sp. I think most investors just want to be able to buy and sell the shares...
Does being suspended help to get a deal, GreenMan? If the MT is sold there will be no need to raise money from placings for a long time. Does that remove the need for a listing?
A delisted private company has less regulations to follow. That may suit the directors. Why do you think the company will get a new Nomad?
Are Norilsk listed on the LSE with a ticker code?
