I am not entirely sure that HellasV has an informed view Broomfielder, except he/she is not turning a quick buck. However, you make some reasonable points. Much will depend on the extent of the offload by Amati. If you check out the latest fluff piece on their website they say that their investments in ‘innovative businesses’ are ‘typically 3-5 years’. Anybody know how long they have been in with IES?

Pretty staggering that the SP stayed at par today with all of the buying volume, quite possibly informed by the very positive news in this thread.

If it's any consolation I am over 50% down, but I am not overly worried because the drop seems to be caused by a couple of big sells each day - we can only speculate on what's behind it. This stock tends to go up and down like a tart's proverbials, so it may bounce back quickly. In the long run it is as sound as a pound - I mean as sound as a bell. However, as some commentators have rightly observed, the company needs to close some sales .

First of all I did not call Hellas a moron and I wouldn't use that term of abuse in any circumstances. I am sure that he/she is a perfectly nice Greek person. The adjective 'moronic' means very foolish.
Using a thread title ‘This stock is going to zero?’ is somewhat foolish if you are an investor and want others to invest. The comment ‘Is the technology flawed? I see many projects, the market does not believe in them?’ is also a little foolish - the technology is of course well proven and new projects are being rolled out globally.

You seem to be confused about my comments on several levels.

I rarely criticize other posters, but HellasVerona has made two comments on this website and they are both moronic.

Once upon a time there were three little pigs:
The first little big called IRON attracted lots of investment by promising to build something to produce something but never actually got around to building it.
The second little pig called KZG attracted lots of investment by building a bit to produce several things and promising to build a bit more to produce even more things.
The third little pig called BMN attracted lots of investment by actually building a vertically integrated company supplying a strategic metal essential to industrial growth, with a sideline in a rapidly growing energy storage technology.
I have a stake in all three, but absolute faith in only one.

Good find pb940. A reassuringly straightforward journal piece which reflects my inital view of the interims: solid rather than perfect (B+?) with the strategy well on track and shortfalls due to events beyond management control. Great time to buy IMHO.

No need or remit for any contributor to justify this as an investment opportunity unless they declare it as such. It’s just a chat room. DYOR. I am fortunate enough to hold the investment until it really kicks off, which it most certainly will, but if you need the cash now then simply sell up. No shame in that; these are hard times, and they are going to get harder.

One would hope so, but the market response is hardly overwhelming.
