Elfish, your quote is out of context. These steps are being taken to close off the Avalon legacy. It's a bit arcane admittedly, but it is a legal solution to clear the slate. Don't look for a conspiracy where there is none. Would be interested to see some factual basis of the your statement about price decline - doesn't seem authentic to me, but I am prepared to be corrected with some hard data.

Consistently negative posting becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Wonder how many punters on the verge of getting some great value shares look at Rogers' posts and go `Nah, maybe not, I'll put it on ROO'.

In my view anybody who marks up Strong Buy or Strong Sell is suspicious. Very few commentators have the knowledge to do that.

Anybody have any insight on whether VRFBs will get any exposure on COP 27? I know it is mostly high level posturing, but maybe some exhibitions or sidebar conferences?

DD77 - not sure I agree on the fund raise. They have plenty of cash currently and I recall Larry's new CFO saying on a recent interview that there are no plans for a fund raise. They should have enough to take them through to the new era of Mistral and 50 MWh +++ plus batteries, which will be transformational.

This kind of reinforces an earlier point of debate about forecasts of production. The forecasts are based on the current situation with conditions set for success. Some unknown factor could affect this, more likely downwards than upwards, but that is the nature of business. So anybody harping in retrospect about this that and the other not being achieved by whatever margin should think carefully about whether this is owing to efficiency or EVENTS. Events can change the rate of progress, but if the strategy is sound then the business will succeed. This one will succeed because the fundamentals are sound and FM has set the conditions for success.

eatstocks, I am not far below you on average, and it would be a tough call to average down, so I mentally and physically parked all that investment that as a LTI, with which I am absolutely comfortable. But a few months ago I set up a separate FOMO account and bought in at these crazy low levels, and this has has restored my every day enthusiasm.

Alfred - you show a commendable degree of conviction in your mission to convince readers that the SP performance is down to the CEO and his strategy, but the basis of your argument is fundamentally flawed. There are too many factors at play on AIM, especially in this sector. Banging the drum on the minutiae and semantics of production forecasts from several years ago, when (as we all know in business) things tend to come in from left field, makes you sound, well, a tad obsessive? When I glance through your posts I think just that: why are you so obsessed? It’s like listening to Sergey Lavrov: you know he is in denial before he opens his mouth.

Most of us are over that - can’t see the point of banging the drum although I was as peed off as anyone. Time to recognise progress and hopefully get our deficit corrected …. and more.

That comment makes no sense at all. Nobody is happy with the turn of events this year, but it seems that progress is being made. You seem to advocate throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Folks who build companies don’t think the same way as those who are motivated by money. Why would Larry sell when his company is leading the market in a breakthrough technology?

Tend to agree that it’s a long term play. Only wish I could lock in at 20odd rather than 50odd!
