Having said that, I would be the first to concede that when weighing up the options of conspiracy and c*ck up, c*ck up will come out on top every time.

Cinders: what is really lamentable is the paranoid perception that a mining company spends its marketing budget on backhanders for an amorphus cohort of hacks that have individually and collectively abrogated their professional integrity. Just trying to imagine the complexity of setting up such a clandestine process makes your head spin.

Re Director shares, seems pretty obvious to me. When you have a good chunk of shares as part of remuneration, and been working at half wages, why would you use your hard earned cash to increase your overall share holding by a small percentage just to keep a few punters happy? And frankly, if I were FM and bothered to read some of the cr*p that is thrown at him on this BB, I eould be even less inclined to keep aforementioned punters happy.

It has been a great week, with a real sense of 'sea change' in our chosen market mini-sector. IES is also doing well. Thanks for the excellent inputs from the grown up researchers, and I love eatstocks' graph which should influence many of those sitting on the fence. I was trying to think of an analogy for this chat room, and can only imagine being at a Friday night party trying to concentrate on a two drink conversation about climate change and macroeconomics, but being constantly distracted by a couple bickering about who was going to drive home. HMHG: since you are using the possessive form of the third-person plural pronoun when referring to BMN investors (at 1709) you have clumsily declared yourself not to be an investor. Which begs the question on the purpose of your presence, apart from your desire to make mischief in a juvenile manner. Have some dignity and come back only if your opinions are eventually validated; which might take a while.

Are we still holding the record for chat posts to share dealings? Albeit that most of it is confrontation? Another useful topic is, possibly, the reason for the confrontation and why so many posters bother spending their time chipping away at sentiment for, apparently, altruistic reasons. Curious share this one.

Agree Mozax. It is a no-brainer for investment - for me anyway - but relies on regular news/sales updates because the market memory has a half life of about two days.

Institutional investors should apply the reasoning that we hear from the long term private investors with deep knowledge of the company fundamentals - no names required - but I suspect that they will only be awoken from slumber by the irresistible force of rising V prices on the international market. Unfortunately we have to accept that AIM is a gambling den for those with a bit of spare cash and the desperation to turn a buck in a short time frame. This is evidenced day in and day out with sales on marginal rises and dips in the SP. Most of the long term players are in violent agreement on the fundamentals, and the occasional mischievous little troll is an irrelevance - no names required. Times are hard and no criticism of those needing cash. But ............... V is the new spice, and BMN is one of only a few.

Getting this SP up to a fair level is like trying to drag the prize Marlin home with all the sharks eating it on the way.

HarChris: indeed, and I've seen the numbers for electrolyte. Just wondered if there is anything in the public domain on potential steel demand and the capacity of the various sources of Va to meet that demand.

Sammy: are these rebuilding programmes significant in the context of world demand? Intuitively I would say:
Ukraine infra - significant effect
Military equipment - some effect
Turkish recon - minimal effect
Just guessing, and if wonder there are any stats.
