Agree Harchris, but a degree of panic has set in following the extensive coverage of the power crisis in recent weeks. We could do with a statement from the company on how they are mitigating the effects.

It’s being shorted because of the massive upside based on fundamentals and geopolitical developments. Only a complete f*ckw*t would sell this now other than for trading imperatives or desperation. Treat the upsurge in activity of any kind as a positive.

Not alike in dignity unfortunately. One house has a narrative of value in the long term, the other is fixated on the daily SP and who is to blame. It was always going to end badly.

All That Guff - Possibly the most ignorant comment on this board for months. We have all had issues with the company over the years, but if this is all you have to say in response to a very positive RNS then you are clearly a grudge bearer. Nothing wrong in adjusting the plan in consultation with future customers in response to prevailing market conditions. And, moreover, being transparent about it.

In a slightly surreal way, I think we are currently mirroring the plot of the Pale Rider, where the honest prospectors are being terrorized by the mining corporation which is trying to drive them off their claims. Some weaken and sell out; some keep their resolve and find riches. You can work out the roles, and I guess Clint Eastwood is represented by the next financial RNS.

I was thinking about this yesterday Codejunkie, and you have a point.But overall I am an advocate of considered response. The likes of Pdub and HarChris do a brilliant job in this respect. Leaving the narrative to the hyena pack without rebuttal can turn away first time investors. Perhaps more importantly, there is an opportunity to propagate the positive narrative i.e. the truth, in the course of rebuttal.

Three patterns repeated today:
1. The hyena pack only gathers in force when the SP takes a hit from big sells (might be shorting, might be for other reasons). There must be a jungle drum.
2. The collective narrative is that the SP fall is because of non-performance. Usually includes a lot of generic BS statements unsupported by fact. (Or in the case of Cinders, Fortune is clearly responsible if the the executive bathroom runs out of toilet paper).
3. Attempts to refute the BS by the folks who actually know their stuff are swiftly turned into personal attacks rather than rebuttal based on fact.
And no disrespect to those without an agenda that have lost portfolio value and can't afford to wait for the inevitable recovery.
