He looked uncomfortable completely revised in 10 minutes pretty much every important timeline they'd stuck to on previous comms over the last 18 months - pushing P2 FID out another 12 months, and instead of drilling in 2025, if 'we're lucky' to be drilling by Q426. Again, again and again, no cash = bankrupt SOU. That's what's coming. Delays delays and more delays. That is a fact and undeniable.

I’ve been rubbing my crystal balls this morning and this is what you can expect tomorrow according to them.

- no drilling update. No timeline. No certainty that even either M5 or SBK will be drilled. But don’t worry, worst case they’ll be a requirement to pay SOU back your % of drilling costs, none of which will help SHs as it will simply be used to pay GL and other salaries. Oh, and you’ll get no indication of when it’s deemed a deadline has passed and Managem need to pay that penalty to SOU.

- The FEED study is being commissioned. No clarity as to what that means, timelines etc etc. All one can assume is SOU are now in such a weak and inferior position, possibly with a poor relationship with Managem, that Tendrara isn’t really of any certain value to SOU at all now. This is my view is what GL and the Moroccans have been working towards all along.

- No certainty of ACTUAL CASHFLOW IN from Phase 1 at all.

- Deflection and bs around restructuring debt and the need for further SH dilution and funding raise by year end, a certainty in my view. How a company with a 12m mcap can raise funds….? It’s gonna be painful. Tides gone out and you’ll see this lot are just bs’ers and chancers just like JP, Traynor & Brian. No different.

Until you’re all spoon feed a ladle full of excuses, opaque explanations and a bucket full of bs. Same ole SOU.

Unfortunately what you lot are about to realise and live is that within 12 months of GL paying himself nearly 700k in recognition of adding negative shareholder value, they’re going to the market to dilute you further via an equity fund raise. Abysmal ability to stick to timelines and terrible decisions are the cause. But don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll whisper sweetly in your ears next week and tell you all with be ok. Read the interims!! OMG.

Ok, don't listen to me. i've only called this right for the last 2-3yrs. just read the latest from Zues - they downgraded the target price. doesn't scream to me that GL is doing a Stirling job. time will be the killer of this company. delays, excuses, delays, excuses, fluffy words hiding more delays, and excuses. none of these pay the bills, particularly GL's and others enormous and unjustifiable packages. less cash, less revenue, less cashflow = bankrupt. the end.

The investor call is just another bread crumb in a long line of bread crumbs leading you on a merry path over the cliff edge into bankruptcy. you clearly have not read the half year report. stuffed full of valueless history and completely lacking in anything concrete forward looking progress. also, there's an extremely dire paragraph in there, i'll let you find it. This company is a textbook example of investors being so blind they ignore red flag after red flag in the inexplicable belief and hope it might be different this time. Why do you think the previous FD Gary Dempster never invested a penny and quietly left? It wasn’t because he didn’t have the money or because he farted in the lift one morning. This company’s DNA is simply to reward only the senior teams for no investor return. It’s completely incredible investors are so blind as to not see it. No news, no progress, no cash (other than for the SMT), what a toxic mess. Next stop….bankruptcy.
