... this thing was trading at 140 less than ten working days ago, so a lot of negativity has already been priced in. Just because we didn't get an RNS today doesn't mean Carapa-1 is a duster. RNS will come when the RNS will come and if positive (remember the line from JP Morgan: 'A report from US investment bank JP Morgan highlighted that the oil quality is unlikely to be an issue given the light oil discovered in the Cretaceous at Liza'), Neil Hannon will have to close his short PDQ.

Agreed Mrd5432 only Carapa will be a substantial game-changer for this. But if Mr Dossou-Aworet thinks it's worth investing in with potential upside (and this man has history with Tullow and a track record in the region), this can only be positive. If Carapa was a likely duster, there is no chance he would have bought 7% right now.

Carapa results should only be days away now.

Good recovery today and I hope it will continue. Tullow Plc's assets are clearly worth a lot more.

Some of the shorters crying hysteria and talking about this dropping to 10p and suggesting this Afren all over again should be ashamed. I'm sure they were creating panic particularly among those who lost substantially yesterday, but it does take a pretty low standard to drop to that level.

The German bank's analysts also upped their target price for Ocado to 1,635p from 876p

Treacle I did exactly the same - waited a couple of weeks and saw no signs of recovery for Tullow and now in Ocado. Feel for the folk who went into Tullow towards the end of last week.

Fingers crossed we learn more about future expansion plans now that funding is sorted (over-subscribed) and given the Japanese are buying, the tech really must be state of the art.

I’m a relative newbie here so sorry for the amateur question - but is it true it is difficult to say for certain these are true buys rather than trade sells? Asking because given the size of the huge late buys over the last 5 days I’m surprised the SP hasn’t gone up further. One the other hand it could be someone building a stake or real take off will be seen in the update next week.
