As you say Sam, the UK markets (not just AIM, the main markets too) can be really confusing. Time after time the market marks down shares following good/very good company news. This inevitably leads to companies being undervalued at which point private equity and/or overseas organisations step in and take them out. It's like there's no confidence in companies simply because they are listed in the UK. This is particularly true in tech/biotech and is driving British companies of all sizes to seek overseas listings. Sorry, you might be able to tell, this is a bit of a hobbyhorse for me, I could be here all day banging on about it - so frustrating!! Still, I've learned that time and timing can usually foil even the most negative of market makers, so I'm not going anywhere.
